Christmas is on the way?

I have gotten a few really small gifts for the kids for their stockings, but I have not gotten any of their main gifts yet. I have no idea what I am going to get them yet. Enjoy your Christmas shopping!

Hello, Ohara! We do not shop for Christmas just yet. There is still a whole month before Christmas, and it would be a long while from it. My mother always buy the things when we are near the Christmas, at least in December. So, I guess we do not shop early. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

At the moment not yet but if i have the budget early then i want to have one small christmas tree in our room of course it would be very nice we can have abig one in our sala but i think it will be expenssive so we have to think on many ways to make it possible to have one.. i want a real christmas tree and then we will exchange gift and simple get togther and celebrate this year.i hope...

I shop all year long. My Christmas shopping for 08 is done except for the few food items I have to get. I buy for all the kids and there is a lot of them and for the adults I do a gift basket. The gift baskets have some thing for each adult. Like for instance my in laws get a coffee basket. My (step mother in law likes coffee and my father in law likes tea so I get a little of both along with a few other things like coffee cakes, biscottis, hard candy and more. My sister in law and brother in law get a basket of snack stuff - stuff that I know they like but don't buy often because its expensive. My mother in law gets coffee tea cappiccuno kaluha and balielys. Along with a magizne and last year I threw a thing of 12 washclothes in there because I found them on sale for like 78 cents. So like I said every thing is done for the year. And I will start shopping for next year as soon as this Christmas is over and every thing goes on sale!!!

I am close to finishing my Christmas shopping. I purchased some plastic ornaments for the bottom of my tree a couple of weeks ago from the dollar tree since the kids will be playing with them even though I will tell them not to I rather they are plastic then glass. We also picked up some snowflakes from the dollar tree that I don't know what I will do with but my girls picked them out. It will be fun this year and I can't wait to see their faces.

I know what you mean Christmas is on its way and it is getting closer as the days pass by,and before we know it,it will be here,and then the stores will be packed which people doing their Christmas shopping,especially the ones who like to wait to the last minute to do the shopping,my mom usually does her Christmas shopping early or at least most of it,but she will pick up a few last minute things when it is close to Christmas,and me and my fiance do not do any Christmas shopping as we do not have much money,but we do want to get my mom,and her mom something,and we will want to try to get their presents early.

We probably won't do any Christmas shopping until November, because we are a little tight for cash this month. We are going to see what happens once my husband comes to Canada safely, and then we are going to decide what to do about christmas later.

I usually wait for the first week of December to do the shopping. Around that time I receive a bonus and I do have extra money to buy presents and all the stuff. I do shop online before going to shops for Christmas. © ronaldinu 2008

I have not even began to shop for Christmas this year. I plan to really soon though. I want to get it overwith without having to fight the large crowds.

I start shopping for Christmas the day after Christmas the year before. I love the sales. I shop all year long if I can get a good bargain. I just ordered 4 gifts from Kohls online for $17! I had some great discount codes to use, so I was really excited. I have about 5 gifts bought for my daughter, 5 or 6 for 2 of my sons, 1 for one of my sons, and my neices and nephews I am done with. We just picked names for our family exchange, so I now have to figure out what to get my brother in law since that is who I picked. In November, my girlfriend and I go on a Christmas shopping trip to the next town where there are tons of shops. We get a little done then, but mostly have a fun time just getting away.

My closet is full of presents ready to be sent to my children who don't live around here. I make sure I shop early so that I can ship the stuff early to make sure they get it.....I also am doing lots of crafts for the crafts sale and I also give alot of homemade gifts.

My decorations do not go up untill after thanksgiving. I usualy wait till that saturday since I am off work and th eboys are home from school to help out. I don't get that many decoratioons, and usualy keep ones from previous years. I do start my shopping early so I am not spending all my money at once and can get it all out of the way before the mad rushes of people set in.

I will start my christmas shopping by the end of this week.

Most of the time when I am in my home town my Mother always prepare the Christmas tree after the celebration of Halloween and she will start to put all of the decoration that she need and after if we will have a money each of us will have a small gift but that was when we are still young because at this time it is us who would share a gift.......

My favorite part of the gift giving has always been the stockings. When the kids were little with Santa and now older - from Mom. I always tried to do practical yet unusual or special things in the stockings. Now that they are older (24/30) its a bit tougher, but I start searching and watching in July and always find things by Dec 25. When little it was easy as I could give them their favorite candy (didn't have it much during the year as I could seldom afford dental insurance!) and decorative pens and pencisl and jewlerys and things like that. But I still love that part best.
