how high is your volume when listening to mp3s/4/ipod??

i have read that listening music through earphones on high volume music for more than an hour a day can lead us to permanent loss of hearing. i listen to music with earphones for hours a day with high volume. im going to be deaf!.. waaahh!!!!..
how about you? any violent reactions??

i listen to the music with earphone, too. but i awalys listen with little volume, unless it is too noisy around. because my friends told me about this. please listen to the music by other ways, for your ears.

I generally have the volume very low, particularly at work. On the train or walking I turn it up slightly, but not too much. I have noise cancelling headphones, so they do must of the work drowning out background noise. I find it really annoying on public transport when someone is playing their music really loud, because, yeah, everyone else on there really wants to hear a rubbish tinny version of whatever you're listening to.

oh i see its annoying. i have to turn down a little bit this time coz someone like you that dont want to hear "rubbish tinny version of whatever" might be the one sitting next to me. we'll never know.. atleast now im aware that some people finds it annoying. thanks for sharing slanted..

good enough for me to hear the music andto hear what is happening around me. i dont want to listen full volune for i had read a lot of accidents related with listening to full blast volume and no lonegr hear what is happening around. i am a mom of four children and i need to be aware of what is happening around me. i taught my children to do the same way
