How many kids do you have? Or would like to have?

I have three beautiful children. Six-year old Katherine, Pia who's 2 and seven-month old Boyet. When I was single single, I would love to have only two children. But my first two were girls and my husband would like to have a boy. And so we made another. Hahaha. Luckily, thank the Lord, indeed, we were given a boy. After Boyet, I had been ligated (simultaneous with my Caesarian operation).
This is really a dream come true for me. They are my treasure!
How about you? How many children do you have or wish you would have?

I have only one. I wasn't planning on having any, but it happened. She's grown now, educated and successful, so I guess I'll keep her. :)

Personally I want to have 8 children but my husband does not want to have so many kids, for him it's not practical and I got convinced :)
We decided to have 3 to 4 children instead. I'm going to have our first child in four month's time now. And we are both excited for the coming of our first baby

Hello, Dhedows118! First babies are really so exciting. We wonder whose features he or she will have, from the mommy or from the daddy. We are excited with the first smile, and everything about the baby. I would like also to congratulate you with the baby on the way.
Regards and happy posting!

I have two "kids" from my first marriage - two boys now aged 22 and 19 - and I still consider them my "babies" - which although they don't appreciate when I show it publicly, they still feel wanted and secure knowing that I am there for them forever. I love children - especially babies - and would have loved to have more if I could have afforded it. Its not fair to bring them into this world if you cannot do your best and give them the best. Although I am divorced from their mum, she and I are still very good friends - and its these two boys who have influenced this continued friendship. And now, I live with my current girlfriend and we have two more "kids" - but they are the four-legged, furry kind. Although they are not "children", we consider our dogs "kids" for the simple reason that we take responsibility in taking care of them and giving them the attention they need as for our kids - of course in a different way. However, my girlfriend and I are even considering adopting a child sometime in the future once we are married.

Hello, Devoneco! You know, I always admire people who are open for the idea of adoption. I think they are as blessed as the children they wanted to adopt. Kudos to you!
Thanks for the response! Have a nice day!

That's right, I agree with you a hundred percent. Although they give us headache most of the time, nothing is compared to the contentment that they bring us knowing that they are healthy and happy. That's the gift of being a mother. And sacrifice is always tagged with it.
Thanks for the response, Nhey! and happy posting!

I have four children, my eldest is 17 then the next one is 8, then one is 6 and my youngest is 2. I have three boys and a girl and my girl is the youngest. I think I always knew that I would have four children, although after having my first boy at 17 I swore that I would never have anymore! When I met my hubby and we had our first child together, I would have liked to have just had a boy and a girl, but it did not work out like that I kept having boys and I just had to keep trying until I had a girl!

My son was born in April of 1980 and my daughter was born in April of 1982. They were both the light of my life until my son was killed by a drunk driver in March of 2004, just before his 24th birthday.
I became a grandmother, through my daughter last year. She is 16 months old now and just a joy, a wonderful healer for us.
Congratulations on your beautiful family. Love them every day and take joy in every moment. They are a true blessing.

I have no kids yet but I really want to have three kids. My boyfriend wants to have four or five but we will see when that time comes. I love kids and I already am practicing how to take care of them. I sometimes borrow my brother's kids. The eldest a girl and already 5 years old, then next to her is a boy who is four, then the youngest is just seven months old. I can't borrow them all at once because I find it difficult. Maybe I need more practice.

I think you're getting married so soon, that's why you keep on practicing with children, noh? Hahaha. That's good, by the time you will have your own children, you must be very well trained.
Thanks for the response and happy posting!

Oh good that you have 3! That's an ideal number! If God permitted I would have wanted that same number of children too. But God gave me only one. I also delivered by Ceasarian. I feel happy despite just one child. It's better to have one than having none. Beside having just a child did not hinder us from having a happy family. Now I know that happiness at home does not depend on the number of children. Happiness resides when there is harmoneous relationship brought about by genuine love and affection for each other.

You are absolutely right, Salonga! It's not the number that tell us how happy the family is going to be. There are some families with lots of children, but instead of having a harmonious relationship with one another, they ended up fighting and jealous with one another. Whew!
Thanks for the reply anyway. Happy myLotting!

Hi everyone,
I just adore kids and love to play with them. But sadly my badluck that even after 5 years of marriage i have got no kid.it really sucks and hurts.
I had a plan and would love to have 2 kids ideally one boy and one girl. As I was the only child of my parents so i know what all activities i missed . Thus i made up my mind to have at least 2 kids. Chalo letz hope for the best and maybe luck shines on me.
