I do receive a request to give blood donation every now and then in my email box.
Last time I gave blood donation is one month ago when a team of nurses and doctors visited our place of work. What do you think of blood donation? Are you a donor?

Now that enough time has passed since I was last in England I am able to donate again. In addition, I had to wait many years since the last time I had a body piercing done. What is funny is that I took all those out save one set of ear piercings. LOL

I tried donating blood once but I got rejected because I was under low pressure that day.
I believe that blood donating is something healthy because there will be fresh blood generated in the process.

No not anymore. I haven't given blood in a few years.I think that those who give blood also give life or help prolong it anyhow. I think it is great. My grandfather gave blood often in a regular basis he had type O and I figured if he could do it then so couldn't I but I haven't given blood in awhile I should really start again. A donor should feel pride in giving blood and feel good about saving lives.

I think blood donation is a noble cause. I myself donate blood at least once every year. I usually also help people overcome myths that blood donation makes them weak or some other myths people have.
At one time I was associated with Thalassemia association and used to organize blood donation camps in my company for the same.
Cheers!

Yup, i'm a blood donor and a regular donor as well ^_^ I like the feeling of helping ple, and also donating of blood actually makes me healthier ^_^ It allows our red blood cells to generate new blood to replace the blood lost ^_^
Plus, the injection is not painful at all, and it's only like an ant bite.. hehe ^_^ Whatever we are scared of, of dun feel like doing, always think of ple whom needs those things we have taken for granted, and most of the time, we will feel more than ready to be a donor ^_^

I think its good to be a blood donor, I myself haven't gave blood, but I would like to. I always thought diabetics couldn't give blood, but I was told they don't actually take your blood, that they just get the plasma from it, so maybe one of these days I will donate. I think its important for people to do that, you may save a life, recently my aunt had to have blood, and it got me to thinking about that, what if nobody donated, then she wouldn't of been able to get what she needed and she might not of been here today. Have a good day

I have never been a blood donor, because I am afraid of needles and seeing my own blood makes me lightheaded and makes me want to faint, whenever I would get a nose bleed as a kid I would always have to lay down because I felt weak in my legs and whenever they drew blood at the doctors office they would have to hold me down and sometimes it would take three or four people to keep me from getting out of the chair and I would always try to hide.

Yes, I do that but not regularly because I don't have time but when anyone needs my donation, I always do. I am physically fit to give blood donation.

I donated blood in my teen years but now i was too afraid to do that since I always been stuffed with blood donation myth like you'll get fatter once you stopped donating blood and bla... bla... bla... I am thinking to do it again since it is for a worthy cause.

For Health reasons unfortunately, I cannot donate Blood. It would be nice though, but who wants Bad Blood? I honestly feel that anyone who is able should give Blood from time to time as you never know when you could need some, and if their was a shortage of Blood for you, how would you feel as well?

I give blood about every two months. I donated a week ago. We have limits as to how often we can give blood as they do not want to deplete us too much. I give every time they allow it, if I am in town.

I always donated blood on a regular basis until I had chemotherapy. Once you have that you cannot donate, which is sad. All people should do it just because it saves lives.
It is also good, if you are planning surgery, to pre-donate your own blood in advance, in case they need it.
