My favorite Holidays are Thanksgiving & Christmas.
The holiday season is almost here, Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are the two most celebrated holidays here. Where family and friends get together and enjoy themselves. I am looking forward to my holidays with family and friends in a cozy warm environment with lots to eat.
Are you prepared for the approaching holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas?

My favorite holiday is Christmas because it is a celebration of the birth of Christ. I also like it best because more of the family actualy takes time to be together. The food is alwways outstanding as well.Things are so beautiful with the lights and decorations also.

I also do like Christmas. It was the celebration of Christ's birth. Besides, it is my sister's birthday too. I can find love in the air. People are so kind. I love the decorations around. This is the best time that the whole family will get together.

Christmas is my favourite holiday too. It is usually spent with our relatives, dinners, presents, visiting each other's house. I like the atmosphere around Christmas. © ronaldinu 2008

Thanksgiving is by far my favorite. Partly because my kids have birthdays that week and partly because it seems to be an overlooked holiday. It is not really commercialized, other than the food and recipes, and actually thanks giving, being thankful and saying so, is an overlooked, neglected character trait. I have so much to be thankful for.

My favorite holidays would be Christmas and New Year. It is the time of the year when our family is complete and that kids are having fun when they receive gifts from their parents, God parents and other relatives. Then at New year's eve, we welcome the new year by having a family reunion at my mother's side. They are 10 in the family, a big one so when the family gets together, it is really fun and loud. We usually have games for the kids and the old ones. Each family prepares and brings food to my Grandparents' house and we share them. The next day, January first, my family goes to my father's side for another reunion. This time, we are only a few but it is a happy occasion as well. We enjoy food and have our annual exchange gifts.

Thanksgiving has long been my favorite holiday of the year, it brings back good memories and fun times with my cousins and grandparents and parents. I also had many good Thanksgivings with my children and recently grandchildren. This year though it looks like my hubby and I may be spending our first Thanksgiving alone. As the kids and grands all have plans to go somewhere else with the other side of the family and their spouses family. That is fine. We may go out for dinner. We could drive 790 miles to Rainer, Oregon but the time of year is not great and we just hate the long drive. Plus we have animals to care for. We might come home and watch a good movie or something or stop and visit a couple of friends with no one to share the day with.
Or even take them out too. We are not sure yet. Christmas we do not keep but we have a Winter Fest fun day with family and friends, good food, games, movies and white elephant auction or bingo. Both are fun times for us. If it snows we may have a bonfire and sledding party with smores, and hot cocoa and then everyone come inside for games or movies.

I would have to say that Christmas is my favorite holiday. There is just something so warm and fuzzy about that time of year and I also get to go home and see my family!

Hi. I am preparing for the approaching holidays. It's not too hard for me because I dont have a large immediate family in the city. But it's enough to satisfy this mother's heart. This is my favorite time of the year. I try to make it as warm and cozy as possible. I always have plenty of food (I love to cook for my family and friends). Everyone refuses to leave with taking plates home. (smile) I can't chose a favorite holiday between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love celebrating them both for the obvious different reasons they stand for. Happy holidays to you and yours.

Christmas still is my favorite. I love the family and friends time. I love having a few days off to celebrate family. Even though my son is growing and not as fond of the holiday and the "fun" of Christmas as he used to be, it still holds a very special place in my heart!

I consider October as blissful personal Holidays. Lol. October is my birth month and I am celebrating it left and right with different circle of friends. Aside from October, I also am always excited with the Xmas Season. I love shopping gifts for my loved ones, and receiving gifts as well. I love dining out and attending different reunions. Of course I do some religious acts like going to church for nine straight dawns before December 25.

I love Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July, that is Independence day in the US for
all you who don't know what that is. It's so much fun in the middle of the summer heat and the whole country celebrates.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it is a holiday that is not hyped up. The stores go from Halloween to Christmas and leave out Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is day to give thanks. My birthday will be on Thanksgiving Day this year. Of couse, Christmas is Christ's birth but it seems that people tend to forget that part about Christmas.
