i went to the store last monday & thought i bought treats for my dog. i couldn't find them when i got everything put away. i thought that darn checkout woman didn't give me my dog treats. i just fussed & fussed. today i was outside in my shed were my freezer is . i was digging in the freezer, guess what i found, the dog treats. i got a big laugh out of my goofiness. have u ever put things in the freezer u weren't supose to. my grandmother put her toliet paper in the freezer onetime. i had carried her to the grocery.she called me fussing & i told her to look in the freezer & there it was. i should have thought of that but i didn't. duh!!

Hehehehe, have had a good laugh from that. my mother once put salt in her tea instead of sugar. She also once put meat in the dust bin instead of keeping it in a freezer then she put gabage in the freezer........heheheheeee.
I also once packed my lunch in the same bag as a small gabage bag, went and dumped my lunch then rushed to the office with gabage and kept in the office fridge then lunchtime i went with my colleagues to eat lunch, guess what I pulled oout!!!!!!!!! people had a laugh of the day.

That is goofy..But understandable...I don't remember doing any of it myself, but when I was younger we found my grandma's glasses in the refrigerator..although I have tried to put my milk glass in the fridge instead of the milk jug.

A few years ago I was moving into my new apartment, along with my step-moms help. We went to Wal-mart to get a few things and bought a new cordless phone. I was siked! I had my phone service turned on before I moved in but didn't have a telephone to hook up to it. We went and got food for my deep freeze and some extras. Well, I bagged all of my frozen items in one bag and stuck the phone in there so I would remember to take it out--it was on top, so I wouldn't forget. I went another week looking for it. I kept checking moms trunk, the soup cupboard, and even the fridge. I went out on the back porch to get out the roast for the night and found the darned phone. Frozen in the bottom of the items. I was so mad and then when I got it charged I called my mom and told her I was giving her a "cold call". She laughed at me, and now I look back, it was hilarious.
My boyfriend did the same thing with shampoo. Left it in the bottom of the deep freeze, because he wasn't paying attention.

Ha!ha!ha! So funny! I see myself in you! Last week I lost my favorite cute kitchen knife. I was sad coz I love using that knife in cutting my veggies. My hubby and my son said they did not use the knife. Neither would my twins use it. I was the only using it every day. But how come it was lost? Well just yesterday while I was cleaning the refrigerator. I saw my favorite cute knife in the freezer. It was inside the plastic container of frozen carrot tidbits. Ha!ha!ha!

Ever walked around with the thing you are looking for in your hand the whole time? Oh yea! That's me.
Around here, I can always blame the husband and kids. Or even the dog. I don't have to take the heat if I don't want to. My husband is 6 foot 8 inches tall. If he loses things, we say "think high". I have found the remote on top of the refrigerator. The other day a found a Potholder(!) on top of our tall TV cabinet. What's that all about?
I have found margarine tubs, a gallon of milk, cheese and various other refrigerator items in the cupboard next to it. I'm blamin' the kids for those.
The silliest was probably the remote in the refrigerator. Somehow that seems oddly connected there. The TV and Food. Hmmmm....... I wish I could say something like "I misplaced my size 2 pants and found them with my jogging suit" ---- Yea, right!

I do lose things that I buy. I think that I am just so tired after I shop and work that I do not think about what I am doing. I am glad you found your dog treats, fresh and frozen.

Oh, I do things like that all the time. Thank goodness I usually catch myself doing it, though. One day I was clearing the breakfast dishes off the table. I put the dishes in the sink, then turned around and put the milk and butter in the cabinet.
As I was washing the dishes, "I started thinking, I didn't put the milk and butter up". So I turned to the table, they weren't there, then I realized I had put them in the cabinet, got them out and put them in the fridge, where they belonged.
I have thrown silverware in the trash while clearing the table, realizing only after I started doing the washing up, that I didn't have any silverware in the sink. Had to go dig them out of the trash can.
I put my skillet in the fridge, one day after washing and drying it.
Some days, I have no idea where my head is when I do things like that. It is obviously not on my shoulders.*L*

The other day I put my husbands safety glasses for work in the freezer. He had handed them to me to clean for him and I was busy talking (what I do best) to him and he said "Why did you just put my glasses in the freezer?" We both laughed and he left for work worried about me being there alone! LOL

Yeah, we're sum pure retards Don't know what in the world we're thinking! I think it's all about not necessarily paying attention! We're so used to doing a certain thing, our minds are going, our bodies are doing the motions, but they're not exactly on the same speed

fortunately, i never do that... and i try to keep my temper down nowadays, not getting angry easily and blame other people before looking at things carefully... also, i always watch the cashier carefully when he/she bags my items to make sure that i get everything that i paid for... good on you for being able to find your dog treats... take care and have a nice day...

Only all the time. I hate it! Or I go to cook something in the microwave, then realize later I stuck it back in the fridge! My husband found one of my pens in the freezer. I can't imagine how it got there.

just join the club, better to laugh at yourself than cry. friend of mine got a poinsetta before christmas. she 'd never been able to keep the, she had watered it ect. the 3rd time she went to water she realized it was artificial. we had a huge laugh out of her.

If she has pets, good thing it was artificial. I found out those things are poisonous to pets.
