professional ethics becomes vaguer and vaguer nowadays.
The famous teenager writers, such as Guojinming, recently told the public that he rufused to apologize to the public though he admitted plagiarizing others. In fact half of his books were proved not his, but " borrowed" ones. However, to my surprize, his fans defended him saying that " it is also a success to make a profit of ten thousand dollars with the plagizrized novels which, without help of Guojinming, will never step in our eyes."
Oh, my God. Have you ever heard of the "reason" like this?
another shock:
Recently, a remoted town in Shanxi province of China where a coal disaster just happened, was crowded with jounlists. Maybe you think they are looking into the terrible disaster. No, they come to blackmail the employers of the coal mine for fee to "shut their mouth". Strangely, the employers are very willing to pay them. In the website "www.163.com", one passage titled " an insult to all journlists" can shock everyone's eys.
here, I can't help ask myself: am I out of date or is the world developing to fast?

I do not think you are out of date at all. the world is definitely growing too fast. They are developing things left and right and it is hard to keep up with technology.
