Is it correct to marry a rich girl?

I believe the question you're supposed to be asking is "Do you want to marry that girl?". Why are you getting married in the first place and do you love her? It's true. Some of the rich girls do want to have rich husbands. But some of them marry out of love. Don't be afraid. Just prove to her that you love her and that you'd make the marriage work for both of you.

I agree with zeroflashx2. Do you want to marry this girl, and why? You say you got engaged to her because of your parents. Is that what you want to be the reason for why you get married? Do you think you will be happy having married this girl because of your parents? Actually, I guess that's the most important question--do you think you will be happy with this girl? If you're worried, you should talk to her about it as well. Find out of she thinks she will be happy being married to you. If either one of you doesn't think you will be happy, you should break it off before you make things permanent. If things don't work out with this girl, don't worry. I promise you there are lots of girls in the world who are much more interested in love than money or any other shallow pursuit.

in our country, marrying is not being measured by status but by love, there are some places also that has fixed marriage. I guess it doesn't really matter if the girl is richer that the guy. as long as you have good relationship, unless she's after it.
