lemon_1800 As far as I know there is no one company which would give you free domain unless and until you buy web hosting with them. Moreover, Yahoo does not have any cheap web hosting plans. There are many other web hosting companies which are very cheaper than yahoo....

lemon_1800 I'll join only that PTC site which has forum to discuss among members. If there is no forum on PTC, that means mostly it will be scam. One more thing you can do is that you can put "sitename fraud/scam" on Google search box to find out reviews of that...

lemon_1800 I think all of them are good, but I personally prefer "orkut" as many of my friends and relatives have been using Orkut only. Myspace, facebook and orkut, all the three have good reputation and they are rocking over other social networking sites.
