Do you like washing your own hair? Or would you prefer someone else to wash it?

Me, I love washing my hair, but I enjoy it more when someone else washes it for me. I love the massages, and the scratching of my scalp.. It is very soothing, and it relieves stress. What about you? Do you like washing your own hair, or would you rather someone else do it for you?

i wash my own hair, but i like it when someone washes my hair.. it makes me relax. however, i like the clean feeling of my hair when i am the one that does it..

If a perfessional is washing my hair than i will enjoy it, because they take there time and massage my scalp for me. But i have this fear with people wahing my hair ever since i was little. i used to scream for my hair allways used to fall in my face and get tangled. so i wash my hair myself.

wow!! I wish somebody will do it for me huh? Like if I can afford to go to the saloon once in a while to let other people do the washing of my hair for me? But in this part of wash my hair myself. I believe you would feel good when somebody massage your scalp.. Oh!! wow!! I like that.

Yes i wash my hair myself and dont feel the need of anyother persons help as i can wash my hair easily. Sometimes my husband does help me out. I think the more important thing is that when one wants to apply hairoil then if someone else can help out by massaging the scalp and applying oil it would surely be desireable.

I prefer washing my own hair. If someone has a gentle hand I don't mind if he or she washes my hair or doing me a head massage. © ronaldinu 2008

I like washing my hair but you're right, it's quite relaxing and soothing when someone else washes it for me. Although, it tickles me in a way, particularly when she splashes water on my hair. But it really feels great when somebody washes my hair for me, sometimes, I can't help but nap while she wash it.

I went to beauty school back in high school and we were taught how to do all you talked about . really does soothe the head and make the hair super clean that we were told you can skip hair washings up to 2 days . Anyway,sometimes washing my long hair can be such a pain . my hair is so much longer than in my picture .It does feel nice when you are in a beauty shop and get the tlc done with the hair .i would mind getting that done .

yeah i am like you.you mean in the parlor washing my hair before haircut yes feels great! and love to sleep it with someone is massaging my scalp.

I am used to washing my own hair in the shower. However when I do go to the salon once in a while for a treat I really do enjoy the calm and massaging feeling on my head when someone is washing it.
There is just something more relaxing when someone is tickling your head with shampoo.

I hate washing my hair. I would rather someone else wash it every day but I have yet to find someone who is willing to scrub my hair on a daily basis for me. My hubby used to but you know, some things change and I don't think he particularly wants to so I don't ask. But if I could afford to pay someone to wash my hair I definitly would! Is that weird? I just hate going through the motions and I LOVE when people mess with my hair and head. In my first pregnancy my mom would give me scalp massages. That was the best!

I love washing my own hair.. Sure, I do like it when someone else washes it for me because there's a nice massage on your neck and shoulders.. the thing is, I just don't really trust the shampoo they use in the salons. I don't know why, I'm sure they use good ones, but who knows? There's no label on the bottle.. So yes, I do like to wash my own hair and I also wash my husband's hair everyday as well.. :) haha

Yes, that is a good question, what actually shampoo do they use.. Because, I use a certain shampoo on my hair. And it may be different from what the hair dresser uses.. So, I don't want to use a bunch of ingredients on my scalp. They do have great products.. But, I wonder, how do they know if the shampoo that they are using will work??? So, I ask myself about this many times..

hi cream 97 yes I like to wash myown hair, but it is so nice to let somoeone else do it sometimes, it is so relaxin as you just sit there while you get nice and pampered. I love the massage part and the whole process. Oh I wouldnt do it every day but once in awhile its fun.

I do wash my hair most of the time. But the fact that someone is going to do it for me is favorable because I feel relaxed and the feeling of being pampered because someone is massaging and washing my hair is so great. If only possible that someone can do that for me all the time, that would be fun. Hehehe. But for now, I love washing my own hair. Happy posting. Take care =)

Oh my gosh I LOVE when someone else washes my hair. I mean, when I wash my own hair, it's not really that enjoyable, but when someone else does it, it's sooo relaxing! But it's not just someone else washing it that i enjoy, I like it when someone just runs their hands through it. I would let someone play with my hair for hours. I think it's the equivalent to a body massage.

Oh, goodness! It seems that we are on the same page! I do love when someone plays in my hair. I used to let my son play in my hair for about an hour.. I would tell him to put my hair in a ponytail. I even would let my oldest daughter do so too. It felt so good to have them play in it.. I enjoyed it so much! Yes, it feels just as good as a body massage. Probably because your scalp is so delicate to the touch.. I love this too. In my family my aunts will get together and take turns scratching each others hair. They all enjoyed it so much. I love when someone scratches my hair and massages it!!
