Halloween, or maybe Christmas. Tis the season. They run them every year. What is yours? Halloween is one of my favorite movie times of the year. I love(and even own) some of what I consider to be the best spooky movies ever. One of my favorites is American Werewolf in London. I watch it every year. My hubby even bought it for me. A Christmas story would be it for that holiday. Ralphie in the pink bunny suit gets me every year!

Halloween is also my favorite movie time of the year. I can get to watch new horror movies during this time. I also keep hold of the scary classic movies like "Rosemary's Baby", "The Exorcist" "Omen" "Psycho" and much more. There's no better season to watch these movies than Halloween (",).

Actually not a movie but I want to see the CSI during sunday at AXN and then PrisonBreak. basically the series I like. It's okay watching movies though but non specific.
I actually bought horror DVD but since my AC Adapter is now gone, I had to wait and get one myself and finally watch it.

I watch Halloween H20 even though it gives me nightmares and also Halloween town for Christmas I guess it would have to be It's A Wonderful Life, with James Stuart.

I love watching Santa Clause 1 2 and 3 every Christmas.
I have a weekend where I watch all three, and it brings back such happy memories of childhood it's amazing :)
So I have to watch those every time :)
As for halloween movies, I dont really like those.
They're not realistic, they're just far fetched with the same basic story.. in my opinion.

I love all the Christmas classics - It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol, etc. I've added The Holiday to my list even if it's not really about Christmas, but the setting is really Christmas cozy - love Kate Winslet's fairy tale cottage in Surrey. :)

I have always loved the movie Miracle on 34th Street I have watched that movie every year since I was little. There are two versions of it one is in black and white the other is in color. I like either one of them.

We don't really have any Halloween movies we have to see. But we have a lot of Christmas movies we like. Mostly I just want to say anything with a Christmas theme, but our traditional holiday movies are the Grinch, which we watch as a family, and Eight Crazy Nights, which we watch after the kids are in bed.

I know what you mean it seems that every Christmas and Halloween there are certain movies and shows that come on television that make the holiday even better and people watch the same movies every year, and every Halloween they seem to play the Halloween Town movies which those are pretty good movies, and they also play movies like Alvin and the Chipmunks meet Frankenstein which I like to watch, and at Christmas I love A Christmas Story, and I also love watching movies about Rudolph and Frosty the Snowman.

Every year I look forward to Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Scanners, The Fog (original), and Friday the 13th and Poltergeist. I grew up with these movies so they take me right back to the dark Hunter Green basement of my mother's house. My brothers and I would file down to the basement and gorge on popcorn while scaring each other during the movies. There was usually a marathon showing a combination of these shows.
Christmas is definitely, A Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street (remake).

i love the kid's special 'a charlie brown christmas' its my favourite christmas show and hubby loves 'rudolph' but as for movies. i really like the old christmas movie 'a christmas carol' which came out during the 1950's (its black and white). 'white christmas' and 'its a wonderful life'. oh and maybe the sound of music (though i have NO idea why its a christmas movie!!)
another one i would like to see is 'joyeux noel' (a war movie during ww1 when both sides stopped fighting for christmas).

Just chipping in on the seasonal Movies..one of my favourite Christmas Movies would have to be "Miracle on 54th St"-either version! Can't think of any movies I'd prefer to be watching around halloween..Being in the restaurant business,I'm usually working that night, never mind being out partying or with family..

For Halloween I tend to go with lighter fare like The Ghost and Mr. Chicken with Don Knotts and now Harry Potter. Its the Peanuts special (you know, the Great Pumpkin) that really brings back the childhood memories. One year, my dad kept putting rocks in our trick or treat bags without us knowing. When we got home, we dumped out our backs and there were a bunch of rocks in with the candy.
For Christmas, nothing beats the Christmas Story. Anytime someone in our family gets an award we always call it 'our major award' teehee. So many favorite parts - the bunny suit, the tongue stuck to the pole, the dogs getting the turkey, the chinese waiters singing Deck the Halls, the younger brother can't get up because he's so bundled up, washing the mouth out with soap - I could go on. Makes me laugh just thinking about it.
We also love Home Alone (the first one), It's a Wonderful Life, Mr. Krugers Christmas, The Santa Clause, and now Pirates of the Carribean. I know, not strictly a Christmas movie but we bought the first one for Christmas a couple years ago and watched it all weekend. Now it seems like a christmas movie to me LOL.
