Yes, you've read the title correctly. I am totally bald. Even my limbs are totally bared now. I guess it is just that time for this to happen huh? Here is a photo as usual as proof that I am totally bald. My limbs are devoid of growth as well now. You see we had severe winds here in Minnesota this weekend and my trees have lost all their leaves finally. So are your trees still holding onto a few leaves or not? I am so bald and cold now. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

It is still very green here. We have lost some leaves but ours are still changing colors. I know the wind has been stronger and shall all be bald here soon too. We will have to appreciate the beauty of winter now and prepare for the cold. My windows are open but it wont be long and they will have to say closed. There goes my cool breezes as they turn into freezing cold......

It was horrible this p[at weekend. Had winds gusting up to 53 MPH here. Howling and banging things against the house. Eerie sounding late at night also. Getting down into the low 20s tonight here in Minnesota. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I like your tree photo. And yes, we still have leaves, lots of them. It's still just too darn hot out here in Phoenix. I heard it's suppose to be 95 today.

I can't handle areas that don't have freezing cold temps or snow. I love the cold and snow to a point most times. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Wow, if you are bald, you should be living somewhere that is warm right now *cough*California*cough*, and you should wear clothes that will make you warm. I live in Southern California, and I am only cold in the early morning, other than that, it is so hot around here. Can I ask how you became bald?

That still does not really explain why you are bald?

LOL Thought you meant you for a minute there, here in the UK the leaves are still red, oranges and brown with a few green ones still left so a beautiful array of colours, won't be long though before they are bald too as the wind is blowing hard. Huggles. Ellie :D

hi grandpa bob alas here in Southern Ca the trees stay green most of the year, and the same old same old weather too. A few of the decidous have dropped their leaves but nothing has changed color and I do miss that so much. I am not much on cold and snow but sometimes our weather is really boring here. we are moving soon to Antioch California which is just thirty miles from San Francisco Ca. I am going to a strange city and a strange apartment so am hoping a lot of good will comeof this as I am leaving all that I am so familar with, specially my dear friends.

Yeah I know. I have a sister in San Diego. She misses the cold and snow sometimes she says. Not a lot just usually on Christmas Day is when she misses it. Good luck with the move as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi there! Don't worry. People grow old and some people just get bald early of their age which makes them feel bad. But I guess, no matter what as long as you're happy..that's the most important thing in life..

HaHa! You had me going there for a minute Grandpa. Great analogy of the tree and a man's head. Our trees are just now beginning to turn color. I was beginning to think that we would never have Fall weather. It has been unseasonably warm here in Northern Kentucky until today. It is very cold today and we have freeze warnings for tonight. It is just as I told hubby a few days ago, we are going to go stright from summer to winter and bypass Fall. Dang it...Fall is my favorite season. I feel so cheated!

We have live oaks that lose their leaves in the spring and I have one in the front and a little one in the back. But even then, my trees are barely starting to turn - tho last night's cold front might really get their attention!

Here in Missouri, the leaves are still turning their beautiful fall colors. It's not quite as cold here as it is there, but this morning it was in the thirties. It's supposed to warm up (some) this week but not by much. I am soo not ready for the cold weather but nothing I can do about it. I love the colors of the leaves and dread when they will all fall from the trees.

totaly bald?? Usually we don't have that for another month or two..Even though from here the ground looks covered, I look up and not even half the leaves are gone..Oh the raking that I am not looking forward to..I would rather it all come down at once and get it over with, but no, I should rake up what is out there, so that in another week, I will rake again, but like I said I will be at it for a while..:(

OMG!!!! your bald? haha. Well we're not bald yet here, our trees are still holding most of their leaves, they are just now starting to turn. It will be pretty to see them in a few weeks, especially along the hillsides. Its been windy today, so I'm sure some of the leaves have fallen off. It is starting to get colder...I love fall..

Hahahaa - ah, GB - looks like you'll have to wait for Spring again! At the other ends of the earth we are getting new growth on everything ... there are beautiful long, glossy leaves on my little frangipani ... when it flowers, I'll take a pic!

Yeah spring is a ways off for us Minnesoptans though. Long cold winters can be very dreadful and boring. But I actually like the snow and cold. To a point that is. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Some of our trees are getting the same way here, too. Today, it is in the 50's, but you would think it was in the 30's with the hard wind! I went outside 3 or 4 times today and almost froze. Of course, I only had on a long sleeve. I would think in a few weeks most all our trees will be losing their leaves or they will all be gone. We have several box elder trees and they do lose theirs early and ours are mostly bear. And pine needles fall from our pine trees year round, but right now, they have filled our yard like gold. My husband got out Saturday and removed all that had fallen from our yard, which is large.

Our leaves are still hanging in there! Won't be long, though, and the last hard frost turned some stragglers pretty colors. Most of them have already fallen off, though, because of the dry summer. I can hardly wait for the snow!

You should see the trees at the bottom of my garden, they are still covered in hundreds of leaves. As I look at them through the window right this minute I can still see lots of green with just the underbelly of leaves being a bright yellow colour. The tree next to it has red leaves through the year and they are still red with just the odd ones on the turn.

Well look on the bright side Grandpa Bob. I'm trailing right behind you. I used to have thick curly hair on my head. I proudly wore it long most of the times when younger. But as I stepped into the age of 30 back then it all began to thin. Years later started to fall off. I guess like they say its a sign of progress. Lol. As for trees come winter time, we don't have that season from where I am now. I only get to see that in the movies. Lol.

Sorry, Bob. The trees are still very green. 98 yesterday and more of the same today in sunny So Cal. I have to admit, I do wish we got weather change here so we could watch the leaves change colors.
