Have you ever had someone talking to you and thier breath is just terrible. Of course you don't want to hurt thier feelings but sometimes it can just be so unpleasant. I have a friend that seems to have this issue a lot. I am not sure why but maybe it has to do with an issue with her teeth? I never want to come right out and say.."Hey your breath stinks!"I guess I am afraid she would be offended. What I have done in the past is just offer her a piece of gum. Thankfully she always accepts! Problem solved... It's interesting thought because I guess it would be different if it was my husband or say one of my sisters. I would have no problem telling them.. But a friend I have only known a few months, my boss, or my doctor for instance.. That gets a little uncomfortable for me to be totally honest. I know being honest is probably the best thing to do but I just can't bring myself to say the words.. Have you ever run into this problem and if so, how did you handle it?

It's easy to say that, site first a situation where in you are the one involved, tell her the good things to do of you both to avoid having bad breath, everyone will have a bad breath after an hour of eating if we haven't brushed our teeth.

it awful when that happens. i am to polite to just say your breath stinks too. as for your friend talk to her on her own. i am sure she will thank you for it. or just be subtle and offer her a mint. she might take the hint.

I keep a roll of breath mints and gum on me. I would offer this person ,would you like to have one? I dont say anymore then that. They will usualy say yes. It solves the problem and noone gets their feelings hurt. I will sometimes say, I like a breath mint from time to time, dont you?

I know EXACTLY what you mean but unfortunately don't have much to offer for a solution. Most of my friends are guys and I've known them forever so I have no problem saying, "dude, your breath smells like sh*t"! But woman can be a little more sensitive, no one likes to hurt feelings. I just can't help but wonder if people with chronic bad breath have something wrong with them. Well, I guess that really didn't help much!
