How many of you participate in signing up for freebies & giveaways online? I read a thread here the other day that introduced me to Freebies4Mom and I have been going crazy signing up for freebies & giveaways. You can check out some of these that I've signed up for on my blog at http://shesalady-aconner.blogspot.com. I'm really curious to know what you do with freebies and such when you receive them. Do you use them for yourself or share them with friends or include them as gifts?

I love freebies. They make really great stocking stuffers. What doesn't go into the stockings I use for myself.

I use the bargainbuddy.com site. It lists freebies and also special sales and codes for free shipping at some sites,etc..
I have a basket for guests in my guest bathroom and use a good bit of the freebies there. There is a little note on the basket that welcomes the guest to use anything in the basket they might have left behind. Shampoo samples , and small size trial sizes are things I try to keep in there. Lotions, a shower cap, etc...
Also I like to get freebies that I think my grandson will enjoy as he likes to recieve mail and little prizes through the mail.

Hello,
I'v been a freebie freak for many years. probally for about a good 4-6 years now. My favorite site for freebies are shop4freebies and freaky freebies. I have received sample cereals and with thoes I give them to my son who loves to be able to open mail, so when I get the cereal I let him open it. He is only 2 so is always waiting to get something. I'v also received childrens movies, Even battery operated Razors, the razors I have given to my hubby for gifts. I have even received samples for my little one too who is going to be 6 months. I'v received formula and diapers for him. I figured that some of the stuff saves money. Today I received a Easi-Twist Jar opener. If you like receiving freebies then you might like to sign up for some survey sites that I do that sends you free items and some that lets you pick out stuff that you want when you get enough points. I have received so much stuff between freebies and surveys.
Thank you and Happy Mylotting

I use them. I take them when I travel. I eat the food, I carry the small lotions and things in my purse. I try to get a lot of them so that I dont need to buy as much. I really love freebies. Ive never thought of giving them as gifts though. I might make up some gift baskets for my friends if I can get enough by Christmas. Thank you.

I have been signing up for freebies and giveaways since 2004 online . I usually keep and use the freebies I receive and I sometimes give them away as stocking suffers. I currently have enough toothpaste & underarm deodorant samples to last me a year. There are tons of freebie websites online that will deliver the latest free samples to you email inbox daily, So I'm never in short supply of new freebies. My personal favorite freebies is coffee samples, men's razors & hair & beauty products. But what are my actual favorite freebies is taking part in market research projects that let you try new products before they hit the market. I love these because you get to keep the product most of the time and they pay you for trying the product and giving your opinion about it.

I read that thread too. But I find that the freebies are mostly for US residents. I'm quite frustrated looking for a freebis for my country. They just don;t give as much freebies here, or am I not looking hard enough? I may even start my own blog about freebies here if I can find any of them. Seems difficult to find them. BUt if I do get them, I think I will share them with friends and relatives.

Including them as gifts would be a good idea. I really don't have time to mess wth them myself. With the economy the way it is it is a good thing to think about. I don't use the coupons and so forth either. Just got out of the habit and never got back into it. Usually it is for something I have no interest in anyway.

I've been signing up for freebies for a long time. What I do with them depends on what they are. Some I give to my daughter because she can use them right away. Others I save for stocking stuffers and I keep some of it in case I can't get to the store when I run out of something.

I suppose I'd be participating in those sites too if I were a US resident. Sometimes I wish I were, just for those and for access to libraries :P! Oh, well. I sometimes get to get freebies from supermarkets and the occasional food expo. I think it's a lot of fun, getting free stuff. You probably get to save some money too, huh? That's pretty cool.
Enjoy your freebies!

I LOVE freebies! I go to todaysfreebies.com and to shop4freebies.com.. I've gotten tons of freebies from those sites. I just bookmarked the one you go to and can't wait to check it out. I usually use them and what I don't use, I send to my daughter. Thanks!

I don't sign up for those because it's not available in my country. I would love to get freebies in the mail though! That would be great. SOme people think it's a waste of time and effort because you need to fill in a lot of stuff, but I think it's a nice way to discover new products out there. While most of the freebies are just plain useless, I know that you can get good stuff too. You're really lucky to qualify for those freebies.

I share coupons with friends. I try to get freebies for my husband or my kids and not just myself. I signed up for a birthday club at Cold Stone Creamery for my little boy.
