It snowed today here in New Jersey, some places got as much as 13 inches. I haven't seen any snow where I live, but choir rehearsal was cancelled because of the snow. I only live three small towns away from the church.
History was made, because it never snowed this early in the year before, especially as much snow that some places had. Yesterday, I was outside without a coat.
How was the weather where you are today?

It has been in the 30's in the morning here all week, but it has been getting up to the 50's during the day for the most part. No snow for us yet, thank goodness. I wore a jacket out yesterday, but I still had my flip flops on. Can you tell I hate shoes?

I am in western NY and it is snowing here today! We plan our kids halloween costumes so that they can wear a winter jacket under it because it is usually snowy and cold here on Halloween.
This morning we woke up to the snow covered ground. It is very cold! Had to dig out the hat and mittens for my daughter to wear to school today.

I recall alloween day in 1990 or 1991.
Here in Minnesota we got 49 inches of snow in a 24 hour span that year.
Cities all over were shut down from this severe storm.
It was awesome really.
It was a record here for the most snow to fall in a 24 hour span.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I can always remember it being very nice on Halloween. But at least you plan for the cold weather. Hope they have a safe and good time, and be careful.

The temperatures here in the UK have actually plummeted! We have had a mild autumn but suddenly it's turned icy cold, we are having weird weather, parts of the UK are getting thunderstorms and I won't be surprised if we get a flurry of snow, but snow in the UK is very rare! The only time I want to see snow is on December 25th! I would love a white Christmas! It just hits you and you have to start turning on the heating again, I think we are in for a long dark, cold winter and we've only just put the clocks back too!

Yeah, this weather is very weird. I couldn't believe when I saw all the snow on the news, it looked like a christmas postcard.
Our time goes back this Saturday, I will be so glad. I went to the store this morning, but first had to wait for it to get lighter. Since the weather was bad, it did not lighten up until eight this morning.
Have a nice evening.

The weather here in Va. was partly cloudy, windy and cool. I have been keeping an eye on the weather in PA since I was supposed to drive back home today, but have now postponed it til Thursday. I've been down here for two weeks visiting my daughter and going to a scrapbook retreat. And just when I think I'm going to head for home, the weather turns to this! lol I never had to plan around weather until I moved to the northeast 3 years ago.

Well it is freezing for us here in Louisiana it has been hitting low 30's for the last two nights. The last time it snowed by daughter was 3 mths old she is now 8 years old. Before that It had been 10 years or more since it had snowed. We do get bad ice and what they call black ice. But no snow. I love the snow and wish it would snow.

I like the look of fresh snow, but I do not like the cold, and to drive in snow, and the black ice, really scares me.

I am in the central Europe. No snow at this time fortunately. I do not want to imagine the traffic during snow days, it is usually terrible. I prefer mild winters with as few snow as possible. Last winter was like that, just minimum snow and no big cold so it was great. I like snow only on downhills so I can go for my snowboarding. That is the only winter activity which I really like.

We did not have much snow last year either, but this is rare to have snow this early in the year, especially the amount that has fallen in some places.

Wow snow before Halloween. That can be rare. It was freezing here. In the 30s for most of the day. But it will be back in the 70s before the end of the week. Back and forth it goes. No wonder my daughter cannot shake her cold.

The weather is up and down here as well. Yesterday, I did not have a jacket on, and today, it is so cold, I turned my oven on for heat. Halloween is predicted to be a nice day.

It snowed here in Hertfordshire in the UK last night. It came down very heavily and covered the ground in a matter of minuets.
The snow is now melting here but it is still very cold.
My two year old absolutely loved it this morning when he saw the snow. He stared out the window for ages saying "WOW Snow"
It is the first time we have had snow here in the UK in October since the thirties.

Yeah, that is what is so strange, it is still October, and in some places it was not just a flurry, it was a storm.

I'm in NJ, too, and that snow caught me by surprise! It was rain up until I left the house (of course!). I hadn't caught the weather report, but from talking to other people they had heard nothing about snow. My little weather.com icon did not warn me either. It seems like it is a little warmer and nicer out today.

It is still autumn here in the US too, that is why it was so strange to see the snow, and the amount that fell.
If you like the cold, you may enjoy the snow. I do not like the snow. It is pretty to look at, but it can become dangerous when driving.

It snowed today in Belfast, and it was 0 degrees and freezing. It usually does not snow here until around christmas time. It is usually around 12 degrees at this time of year. We got a shock when we looked out and saw all the mountains covered in snow. I do not know if history was made here either, but I think it probably was.
It is strange as a lot of people on here from all around the world are saying about the weather being odd. Today, I think there was an earthquake in Pakistan. A girl yesterday said it was raining in Egypt and she was cheering. Is this global warming or something else.

Yeah, from the responses I have received, many people experienced strange weather yesterday. Today, it is very very cold, and that is unusual for Aumtumn, it is not zero degress like where you are but about fourty eight.

I love the snow and cold. To a point that is.
I do live in Minnesnowta or is it Minnesobrrr?
It is near 60 this afternoon and sunny after a chilly night of low 20's.

I don't want to talk about snow! Brrrrr. We've already hit the freezing mark once here on the high plains of Texas, but the days are warming back up into the high 70's. The weather has always been very unpredictable here. There's a saying that if you don't like the weather here, hang around a few minutes, it'll change. It's getting worse. We get rain in the seasons that are usually dry and high winds during much more of the year than we used to.

Here in Egypt the weather is good at the moment not so hot not so cold either. I think its 21 degree today. And I think just 2 more weeks and it will be cold. I have been here in Egypt for a year now and I think they only have two season's which is winter and summer and the rainy days comes on winter.
