I have seen microcontrollers, an exists some PIC that can use java program to execute task, well it is not all the java virtual machine, but the sintaxis is too similar, what do you think about java and microcontrollers, do you think more devices could be programming with java in the future ???
thanks

I have seen in this website ... www.antratek.com/Parallax_JS.html
they call javelin stamp and it is a subset of commands based in java language with the same sintaxis but the number of class are reduced ... if you want you can look around that web site and give me your opinion.
thanks

That was interesting.. I want to have one of those. Anyway, i was mesmerizing my college years. We were doing an embedded programming but that was in C language. It was fun to see your program worked using the microcontrollers to control other devices. I think using Java as a language to program the microcontrollers has the same outcome with using C. It will still produce a compiled program for the microcontroller.
I was wondering, is this in relation to your bluetooth and gps thing? Do you already have the javelin stamp? Have you played around with it?
