"Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach is one of my all time favourites! It is a short story about a seagull that chooses to ignore the standard calling of an average seagull and master flight instead of spending his days fighting to survive like the rest of his flock. He ends up being kicked out of his flock and has his family disown him but in time he finds others like him and achievs spiritual perfection. It is a story all about sticking to what drives you and giving it everything you have and I have found it to be one of the most inspirational books I have ever read! I have read it well over 20 times in my life and I never get tired of it. I strongly recommend that you get a copy if you can and would be interested to know what you thought of it if you do.

Try "Last Lecture" by the late Prof Randy Pausch, "Tuesdays with Morrie", "Kite Runner" is a good and heartwarming fiction, "Feel the fear and do it anyway" which is a good book to overcome your fear and follow your dreams, "The monk who sold his Ferrari" which is a little bit hard to follow, "7 habits of highly effective people", "who moved my cheese", etc. Quite a lot actually. :)

For Self Help, I'd recommend the Silva Mind Method, by Jose Silva Jr. It's kind of a meditation technique for NLP (Neuro-Linguistic-Programming), and I'm currently reading it for the third time. If you apply the techniques in the book, you will definitely see an improvement in whatever you apply it to.

Well, there are many good books that you can read and learn a lot from it. One is the BIBLE. There are many true to life stories happened in the olden times that you cna in the Bible. That is the greatest novel of love stories. Poems and a book of history. You don't need to read the whole Bible at one time. Love stories are in the book of Ruth, Esther, Song of Solomon and there you can also read the love story of Samson and Delilah. Try and you will enjoy it. good luck.

very good!! you got it right!!! at the moment I am reading in the book of Samuel. I like the story when the people of Israel insisted to have king and how God choose king to lead His people. I love the story in there that I don't want to stop reading hehehe and see what will happen next. It is interesting how God answer the prayer of His people and how he delivers them right in the last minute of their need. Most often people are impatient waiting for God's answer but, it is always the case that God provide them in the last minute. So, it's nice to put this in mind.

hi friend, the Bible is indeed a wonderful book that tells us different genre of stories. A books that not only will give us enjoyment in reading but at the same time tells us how much God loves us that He gave us His only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross to save us from sins. It also contains His promises and assurance how much He love all of us.

I would recommend Watership Down by Richard Adams. It is one of my favorite books ever. I will read it again and again. The story is about a group of rabbits who travel to their "promised land" called Watership Down because they sense disaster is about to happen where they are. As with a lot of journeys, they go through some hardships and lessons learned in life. This story is just heartwarming and thought-provoking. You can relate it to the human world. I hope you really try out this one. PS- Coelho's The Alchemist is a good one too. So is Takami's Battle Royale but this one is more gory and violent and I don't think you'll find it relaxing.

I would recommend 'The Razor's Edge' by Somerset Maugham it is a well-written interesting book that talks about the journey of a young man to discover the truth and meaning of life. I found it very inspirational. Tehre are thousands of important books to read, but if I had to pick one it would be this. I also enjoyed the "Kite Runner" it is a good life lesson. Other great options are "Tuesdays at Morrie's", "The Four Agreements", "The Mustard Seed", "Siddharta"..... the list is endless. Regardless of which book you pick the main thing is to pick one and then another. Enjoy your reading.
