why photography?

well i love photography but i am studying human anatomy. i love pictures cause it capture some how people's soul. it really makes me happy seeing photos of people who is in their natural environment.

That's cool! I'm a photographer and my boyfriend has a degree in Computer Science! It sounds like you'd get along with both of us!

I just love it. I started off with writing as my big passion, but over the past few months I've really fallen in love with photography. I started posting on Deviantart and I even finally put two of my works up for sale there. I admire photographers and the raw emotion they can capture. I'm going to take a distance course with the New York Institute of Photography at the first of next year and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm not really all that interested in making money, but I do want to be able to say that I'm published, both in writing and in photography.

I also love photography, although I'm not an expert in taking photos. Like you, I did not specialize in photography. I just love and enjoy taking pictures, and it became a hobby. I even try to edit pictures using photoshop, even though I'm not also an expert of it, I just try to explore and discover. I always bring with me my digital camera.

I don't know why photography... more a matter of "why me?" - it just captured me when i was a kid, more than half a century ago, and hasn't let me go.
