Do you still believe in the justice system of your country?

hi mylotters! just recently, i sued someone because of the assault he has done to my family. i undergone so much process just to put him in jail. that's what they call "Due process of law". We are the one that has been harm, we are the one that suffers that slow process of the law. I still believe in the justice system of my country but the process of acquiring takes a lot of effort and time. please share your thoughts and experiences. thanks
