LOL. Those are said often. It is an internet slang language. In your internet sharing community, or even in your social life. But, do you know what it means? I can say some. LOL means lots of laugh. LOL also means lots of love. LOL also means lots of lucks. Do you have the other LOL means?

Yah, LOL is used for that purpose most of the time. If you use it on other purposes along the web, people might be offended for a wrong cause. Heehee. Anyways, LOL can also mean living on limelight? See? It's kind of awkward... For example, Lack of Love: male: Hey I've heard you're alone right now...LOL? female: I'm gonna beat the hell out of you!!! Living on Limelight: male: hey man you're kind of famous right now. LOL? male2: WTF are you talking about? Heehee, have a nice day.

In England we tend to use it as an abbreviated form of 'Laugh out loud'. Have heard numerous other meanings for it but am so used to hearin it used as I have mentioned anything else just sounds odd. For example heard a joke a few weeks back about a girl who didn't know what it meant and sent a sympathy card to her friend saying sorry for your loss LOL thinking it ment 'lot's of love' when really it was read as 'sorry for your loss...laugh out loud'. They didn't speak sfter that.

BAM! That was quite a story... Moral lesson: Never use an abbreviation that people knows the general meaning of in saying other stuffs, it might kill a friendship. Heehee.

I always use Laugh out loud it's the most common way of using it.

The only LOL I know of stands for "laugh out loud" such as when you write something that makes you laugh or when you write something that you mean to be funny or a joke. People used to write things like "ha ha" which really means pretty much the same, but LOL is much better. I like some of your LOL's, especially Lots of Love. What about Lick On Lollipop? Yeah, it is pretty bad!! Another could be Little Old Lady. She's such a cute LOL! OK, I'll stop now! LOL

The first time I came across that word, I read that in text messages. I wondered what was that all about. I also watched a commercial before where a daugther sent a message to her father with her text message ending in 'LOL'. That's the time I realized it means 'Laugh out Loud'. Though there are still a lot of meaning as you have enumerated. LOL...
