Early to bed, early to rise.

Until a month or so ago my sleep arrangements were appalling. I'd get up early and stay up until the small hours, often on myLot. I asked some friends to help out and send me to bed at 11pm, but I often ignored them. However, now I get up at 7.15 am and go up by 10.30 pm. A friend will often give me a warning a few minutes before and off I trot like a good boy. In truth I am a lot better for it. So what time do you go to bed usually? Be honest now!

I worked until 10 pm last night and slept at around 12 midnight and woke at 5am to prepare for a 6am work.
Wow, this is so frustrating but what can I do.
I have to pack up for a 4 day conference and to report for a 6am sked for work on monday.
Happy my lotting and have a nice day!

I'm a bit of an Olympics junkie, especially the winter Olympics. And they always ALWAYS broadcast the darn things too late at night. grrrr...

During the working week I usually get up at about 7:30 a.m. really to early for me..lol. I go to bed about midnight mostly. During the weekend I sleep longer. Usually wake up about 10:00 a.m. which I really enjoy. I know I should go to bed earlier during the week cuz I feel sometimes really tired during work day but in the evening I am usually not very sleepy.

Honestly? I go to bed anywhere between 3 a.m-6 a.m. then I have the tendency to sleep the day away and get up mid afternoon unless I have a appointment then I will try to go to bed earlier. There are rare occasion where I stay up all day then go to bed early and get up earlier the next day. When I was helping my mom move i had to get up at 5 each morning but they were in bed by 9-10p.m at night so I got into that habit took me a few days to break after I got home. Now I am back to my weird hours again I feel when my Fibernet gets installed that I will have a more decent bedtime since I won't have to worry about keeping the phone lines opened during the day since Fibernet doesn't use the phone to connect online.

There was a mix up with the Fibernet now I have to wait another 2 weeks..shame. It works I guess he doesn't like it that I stay up all night and I wouldn't if I had the fibernet. So cross your fingers I get it soon..

In the Navy there is a term "Hot Bunking" where the sailors on watch take over the bunks of the next crew on watch. It must be a little like that with you. As your hubby gets up, you go to bed. But if it suits you why not. Fibernet sounds a blessing. I forget that people still have dial up. Take care and sleep well.

Well, I suppose I trot off to the boudoir somewhere between 11 and 12 most nights. I read in bed for a little bit, then doze off for half an hour, then wake up, etc. That goes on all night until I'm awake properly at about 6am. I have a little radio plugged into my earhole, and listen to the talkback during the 'awake' periods. Obviously I don't need much sleep, as I'm not unusually tired during the daytime, so I guess three or four hours' sleep (in short bursts) suits me. On very hot days I have been known to have a little doze in the afternoon ... but I think that's more an old age thing than tiredness!

Sometimes if I can't sleep I will come and make a cup of tea and watch some TV - well put it on and stare uncomprehendingly at the flickering screen until my eyes feel heavy and back I go. However, so far, and with one exception when I had stomach ache, I've found that going earlier has given me a better sleep. Old age? I'll send you some elastic stockings and wide fitting slippers to accommodate your bunions!

I go to bed any time between 10p.m and 1 a.m, depending how I'm feeling. I have to get up at 6.30 a.m for work. My problem is that it doesn't matter what time I go to bed I usually read until 2a.m. I'm glad you're getting into a routine and feeling better, just don't bother Mrs P1ke while she's getting ready for work. No cheating on Sundays though.

i am always an early bird and early riser as well... i go to bed at around 9.30 pm and wake up at about 6.00 am... it is because i and my hubby have to work early in the morning every weekdays and we can't afford to go to bed late... otherwise, it will be very hard for us to wake up the next day... take care and have a nice day...

Well, last night I didn't sleep at all for some reason. However, when I do go to bed, it is usually around 1am or 2am and I get up around 10 or 11am. I work online and I am usually up late at night trying to get work done and then I have a habit of watching a movie before I go to bed. Yeah, I need better sleep habits. :)

Right now I'm working 6 days a week, so believe me I'm too pooped to pop when I get home. I usually stay up until about 11 and then I might lay on the couch and watch a show or two and usually wake up in the middle of the night to an informercial. Even though, I don't like having to work late, I love the days that I don't have to be at work until 12 because it means I can sleep in. On those days I don't get up until about 10:15 and then rush around like nobody's business trying to get ready and catch the bus on time.

I have been going to bed after midnight lately due to computer problems, which is pretty bad considering that I am usually up at around 4 a.m. It is catching up with me now and I am feeling quite run down and unwell so sorting out your bedtime is a good idea. You don't realize how important sleep is until you have been deprived of it.

Usually I get up at 7:30 am,and 0:30 am to sleep and sometimes even later. As the time is too short to sleep,I am always in a bad state.I really want to change this state of affairs.Every night I say to myself 'It's time to sleep,it's time to sleep',but i always seem to have much to be done. When I finished,it was already middle night...

i go to sleep at 10:30 and wake up at 5:00. but college work is hard as hell and very long so I mostly sleep at 12:30 these days. I can't wait till college is over. But sleeping early and waking up early really make you feel better. You also get more time to do things like Mylot ...LOL

I used to stay late every night. Now, after one month in Europe I am in my bed at 5PM and up at 9PM..., back to sleep at 11PM and up at 3AM....
I promised myself to be in my bed not later than 11PM during the winter.
Light is very important and I want to be up during the daylight....

I am up at all hours too, p1ke. Often myLotting as well. Too bad we are around the world from each other, I would ask for your IM for some wee hour chatting.
I just can't seem to fall asleep when I do go to bed and I can't lay there thinking.... drives hubby nuts when I try. I take sleep aids about twice a week to make sure I get good sleep once in a while.

I often chat with friends in the US Pots, on IM and Skype. But it tends to be during your morning and my afternoon. I now go to bed and a friend (in the US) sends me off. I'd hate to disappoint her so I do as I am told and go. I feel better for it too and don't really wake in the night now. There is nothing worse than you mind working overtime - "Have I done this. What will so and so say?", Will I be late because I've got to do X first". Awful. I comfort myself with the thought that there's nothing that I can do about it in bed so I might as well get some sleep and worry tomorrow!

I usually dont go to bed till around midnight. I get up between 5-7am depending on what day it is. I do better on like 4-6 hours of sleep any more than that and I am tired all day any less and I am tired all day. Sometimes when I am sick I will go to bed earlier, but not usually.

i would say it varies a great deal with me. But on average i usually try to get to bed by about eleven. Now that doesnt mean that i will go to sleep then, just go into bed. I usually fall asleep a few hours later, and it is hard because i need to wake up around seven every day of the week. I try to catch up on sleep over the weekend though. lol
