Do you have some hobbies?????????

I am trying to learn how to crochet so that I can make some things for my fiance and I and also to sell, and maybe even to give as gifts on holiday's and as a favor for the girl's in our wedding. I also like to read and love to read westerns and romance.

I haven't had any spare time in a couple years, but I love photography. I like to take my camera, and just walk and walk, and take lots of pictures.

My hobby now is surfing the internet and doing all the activities that have a connection with internet. I like especially to post discussions in mylot. This is the place where I can release my pressure and at the same time earn some money. I am fond of composing sentences and doing the typing job so this is the most interesting site to me. Yes, I agree with you that we should have a hobby so that we could avoid ourselves from the emotional and physical stress. As for me I get a lot of advantages when I surf the internet. I gain more knowledge which some of them I never knew before. I get to know new friends and exchange ideas with them without the pressure of being judged or criticized badly. I find all my friends, especially in mylot are very kind to me. Thanks for starting this conversation, take care.

I think having a hobby is very important to a persons well being and particularly as one gets older it is important to keep the mind in tune and busy!!! Apart from computing I sell plastic model kits, not as a business but just to keep busy. I came acoss a batch of models from around 30 years ago that are in perfect condition and am going through them slowly. When I have time I am putting photos in my profile if anyone is interested.

my hobbies include cake decorating, sewing, watching movies, playing the piano, painting. It usually takes me about 3 hours to decorate a cake. To me, it only feels like a few minutes though. I enjoy doing it so much. And if you make a mistake, it's yummy to fix it...lol For sewing, i love to make quilts and clothing. i especially like to make the old Victorian style dresses. It's fun to watch a piece of flat material get transformed into a gorgeous dress. For movies, i particularly like comedies and animations. sometimes i like a good action or suspense movie to.

i do have a ton of hobbies from making scrapbooks to making my own cards and gift tags to beading to knitting and crocheting. i love to do stuff with my hands and cannot sit still even when i am watching tv. i also love to read mostly non fiction.

The biggest hobby I have right now is Mylot, I'm here all the time, everyday, all day, I sit in front of this computer all day..lol The other hobbies I have, when I'm not on Mylot is I like playing my guitar and singing, thats what I like to do too.

Yes my friend, all of us have hobbies. I for example like reading good books (even more than internet surfing which is also a hobby for me), shopping, going out with my girl for a walk in the park, or to see a good movie at the cinema, daydreaming - and this includes: making plans for vacation, thinking of gifts for my girl.

hello , I think it is good to have a hobbie , or a liking because it is good to get lost in something we like . I like to always try out new things , hey we only life once . Some things i like to do are write , play baseball , paint , make soaps and beauty products . My list goes on and on . I like to collect all sorts of things from the sea esp seashells and i like to collect an array of things that deal with new york city one of my favorite places in the world . I think when we are older we spread our wings more and know and try out differnt things to do or like .

I agree with you. Every one has some hobbies. Yah, I have some hobbies. My hobbies are internet surfing, gardening, reading story books and watching movies. Some hobbies are very much helpful to us. Some hobbies makes us to provide good health. Happy to share your views.

A couple months ago I tried my hand at doing a picture mosaic. I did a pretty good job considering it was the first time I attempted a mosaic art piece. The picture turned out fairly good except I stood it up to dry and so the piece got warped. I'm hoping I can somehow get it straightened out or have someone fix it for me. As far as hobbies go I hope to take this form of art up as one. Other hobbies I have are working on income opportunities on the internet, making musical slide-shows for my Youtube channel plus other videos, site-seeing & discovering new places and doing a collection of lyrics/music to very special songs from movies.

oh yes... i do have couple of them... i love reading, window shopping, making new friends, travelling and watching movies... whenever i feel down or in a bad mood, i will do one of these hobbies and it will make me feel better again after that... take care and have a nice day...

Yes, apart from reading and writing, doing embroidery and cross-stitching is one of my hobbies. I think it is good training for my head, as one must plan things to do a good job. I have many finished and framed pieces already and I feel proud about them! I recommend it to everybody!

I love to read, get online and surf, do some scrapbooking if I have one to do haven't done them in a while, watch some old movies. I do some walking to get around a bit. I enjoy this political year though and keeping up with the stuff about the elections,though it's getting to old hat now.

I have a few hobbies, my favourite hobbies are cross stitching which I have now done for many years and I love the most. Then the second one is knitting, I have knitted for many years but have only just recently been doing a lot more of it, I find both of these hobbies really relaxing and a way of relieving my stress!

texting is my hobby. whenever i feel bored, i usually text all my friends. i also read books which can help me understand my lessons learned from the class.
