How often do you clean your bathtub & toilet???

I just want to know how often you clean your tub and toilet. Do you clean it before it looks dirty or do you wait till it does look dirty? I personally don't do it until it starts looking a little dirty but I've been thinking that I should probably start doing more preventative cleaning. Meaning, maybe I should clean it in a specific time frame on a regular basis (bidaily, weekly, monthly). What do you guys do?

I do not usually clean my bathroom, my husband does. The tub is cleaned after each use, and he usually cleans the toilet once a week. He does a better job than I ever would, because he gets in the toilet with his hands and a rag, he does not use one of those scrub brushes. I wouldn't do that

I use a rag too, I used to use a brush untill I started cleaning houses for a lady and that is how she insisted we do it. I think it works much better.

I use the toilet wand. It is a lovely thing that eliminated the need for having some hazardous toilet cleaner. I was always afraid of that stuff, my mom said if I sat down to pee before it was flushed away it would burn my hiney off. So I always had to use rubber gloves*the big ones* and stand back a hundred feet. Now, I dont have to worry, just snap it on and go. It would get a bit expensive doing it daily though!

I clean my bathtub and toilet everyday, even though I have to keep my bathroom clean from soap scum, mold, and mildew. I use dish washing liquid mixed with bleach, along with disifectant sprays and cleaners.

Wow, talk about dedication. I only wish I had that kind of discipline. I find it difficult with two kids to do deep cleaning frequently cause I'm constantly worried about them coming in contact with the chemicals. It worries me to no end. But I truely wish I could do it like you!

I clean my toilet once a fortnight or if it gets dirty quicker than that I would do it once a week. I live with my husband only, and our toilet doesn't get dirty that quickly. Maybe if I have kids I would do the cleaning more often. Actually if you clean your bath tub and toilet when it starts looking dirty is okay too. In this way you don't have to set a regular schedule for the cleaning. Some people have a strict schedule but I can't live like that. A schedule too tight would make me stressed out but actually it is good to have schedule if you are able to manage it.
It's up to you actually whether you want to do it on regular basis or cleaning up when it starts to get dirty. Maybe you can ask your other family members, maybe they can contribute some ideas too.

I have actually implemented a schedule since I started this post and it's working nicely for me. I'm a very visual person so I found it nice to be able to see written down what I need to do cleaning wise on a daily basis.

I clean my tub once a week and my toilet daily, I'm kind of obsessive about that. The rest of my house I clean when I get around to it.

I WISH I had the willpower to clean my toilet daily. I am currently doing it on Mondays now and that is working. I just really admire all the ones with a squeaky clean loo!

I clean them weekly.Every time I bath ,before and after I will clean them free and easy.And on weeken days,I will chean them thorough.It's healthy to do that orerly.

I do thorough cleanings once a month. I just hate doing it, it's gross, *LOL* I should probably clean it more often, but, EWW! *LOL* ;)

Sounds like me! I have been thinking though and I think I'm going to start cleaning them ever monday cause I feel like I'm wrong for leaving it go that long :-(

I dont get the amount of time required to clean throughout the week. On sundays i'm quite free. So, i usually clean my toilet every sunday. I think cleaning it every sunday is enough. May be i'm used to it, but the toilet doesn't get that much dirty through the week.
