Why should any man bit for her when there are enough women out there who will give it away for free?

I will watch the show if I am not working, but my opinion is that to each their own, I can't judge her without listening to her story first. I bet that Tyra found her interesting or she would not be on her show next monday.

Hi worldwise, Yes I do agree that it sounds cold and calculating, but I find it more interesting that you are going to watch it! Therefore the girl has achieved an audience and is probably nothing more than a "professional" adult star. I haven't read all the posts, the first ten were enough. What on earth is so fine about virginity? As a libertine, the last thing in the world I would want is a virgin. Purity- pwah! It seems to me that if she has set a decent reserve price, she is valuing herself very highly. What? I could have auctioned off my virginity and made money out of it? I never knew. I was 44 when I decided that it was time to stop being a virgin. I never knew I could have sold it. Hmmm I probably would not have as I was looking for man who was considerate and gentle in helping me through this. My problem came from a lifetime of waiting for a husband. Well it never happened. I was 44, told I was pretty, but still a virgin. I was sexually repressed, thanks to my mother and worried that I would die a virgin. Scary!! As it happens I was too old to get pregnant. I tried but now I am in menopause and a mother I will never be. I missed something important somewhere in my life. I would happily have been a stay at home mum but I never found the right man in time for my biological clock and now who cares. *sigh* All past history and I am also sick these days.

This sounds silly. Virginity for auction? She should be proud that she's still virgin especially in US. Because you can rarely meet ladies especially teens that are still virgin at the age of 14 or 15. Virginity is truly valuable but if that's what she really wants, well that's her decision.

Maybe she needs the money? One thing she is getting is attentions, not many of us can say our virginity caused that much uproar. I'm sorry but I just can't get to upset about this. I agree with you that it's really shocking! However, we can't judge this young lady of immorality. Immorality sometimes goes with the culture or change in lifestyle. No one can be blamed, since there are so many reasons to justify this if we are going to ask her intentions. Though, really strange, and I myself can't believe that she is into virginity auction let's just respect her decision. Well, she seems old enough to face the consequences of her actions.

This bit of news is indeed shocking, as people - men and women - should only give their virginity to the people they truly love. It says a lot about the moral values of the woman, and her preference of making money over her purity is quite disturbing. I do wonder, if she gets only a few thousand dollars out of it, would that be the value of her dignity?

Its just an unusual form of whoring. Selling is the same as auctioneering and if its your virginity then its practically the same. This could also be another publicity stunt. Think about it !

Is this true? This is the first time I heard such news. Is she that poor to auction herself? Well for me yes it is cold and immoral but what can we do? We do not control peoples life. Probably she has her reasons and most probably its poverty. She must be proud to be a virgin at her age but the sad part is its for sale .
