A professor at the University of Political Science and Law ,China, was stabed by a student wielding a kitchen knife as he was preparing to take a class.Rumours said that the professor was "in a relationship" with the student's girlfriend. Is there anything like that happening around you? what is your opinion about such tragedy?

its a scary thought.
it is wrong for teachers to have relationships with there students. it is abusing their position.
even if this rumour was true this teacher did not deserve to die for it.
if it happened at my school i dont think i could go back as i would be terrified.

That rule doesn't apply to university professors, as their students are adults, though it is scorned upon.

It is a bad example. May be it is happening other place alos but very rare. More patience and sensible action would have been anticipated. The student did something without thinking for while that what will be consequeneces. He took one life and probably lost all funs of his life as well.

shame...however, taking the things that are happening to me now, I would have to say that things happen for a reason...

hi, According to me such events are very scary, one should respect his teachers like their parents. i am a person who thinks that for every problem there is a solution (without violence).

Oh, this is really scary! I don't know much about students in China but here in the Philippines, so far I am not hearing things like that (hopefully there is none ). I guess there must be a psychological problem within the thinking of the child. The place in which he or she grows is one factor why he or she is behaving like that. Another thing is the media.Nowadays, even in Philippines, the parents are so busy working for a living and the children are left alone in the house in which nobody will guide them on what they do. And so sad, till they grow up, their parents are not giving much attention on them.

No such thing like that. But, professors killed is not new. What's my take in the issue? It's really not what happened that matters. He should let divine intervention take place rather than doing things on his own and make the professor pay for his dues. And yes, I don't think a student-teacher relationship can do better. It's not good.
What a sad situation. There are even more corrupt teachers that deserves that. Heehee. Have a nice day.

Goodness, that is awful. I think knives are becoming the latest craze or something.
I think the student went a bit to far on that one. He could of thumped the professer or talked to him about it. If he had of went to the School or univercity and told them what the professer had done, he would of lost his job not his life.
