Do you have a friend or relation who has the same name of yours?

I don't have any friends, relatives, or relatives of friends that have the same first name as I do. It is not an unusual name, but I just don't know anyone personally who does. I know there are a couple of people my younger siblings went to school with who had the same first name I do, but no one they were close to or that I had contact with etc.

I have a friend who has the same first name as I have. We were in the same class and both of us wear a scarf. She is a little shorter than me and her complexion is a little darker. One day she received a flower request (a rose bouquet) from a male student in engineering school. In the note, he mentioned her first name. The sender said he was thankful because she had helped him in his translation work and because of her good job, he got an 'A' for his paper. Even though my friend was almost sure the flower was not for her, she didn't ask me about it because I think she wanted the flower. Only after the flower had turned dry did she asked me about the flower request. When she told me about it, I was surprised because I was the one who did the translation work for the engineering boy. I was a bit disappointed because the flower was sent to the wrong person. Poor me. Lol!

Hi Vimaal. My good friend and I are both Brenda and we bowl together and have for years. It is not a common name and it is comical because my sister and she used to play a game not long after they met where she was called Aunt Brenda and when we refer to her as that today, no one understands how there can be 2 "Brenda's" in the same family, so the story comes up of the game they used to play years ago. Our children still call her Aunt Brenda. My middle name of Marie is shared MANY times within the family.....my mother, daughter, granddaugher and niece.

Hi vimaal. Many years ago I had a teacher that has the same name of mine. It was funny because when someone called one of us both responded LOL. Have a nice day too vimaal.

I am krishna and well i have friends having my name as well but still we have nick name or dept name to addup. its always funny to see people calling me or my friend who has same name too. but i really like my name indeed and ofcourse i too have cousin in name of vimal.

I have never had any one close to me with my name. guess ya might have to use middle names to af all to keep you seperate

I have a friend who has the same name as mine. For example, her name is Mary Rose, my name would be Rose Marie. It's like our names are interchanged. We have a number of things common about each other and I feel like it's cool.

I had four friends at school who were all called Anne or Ann. In the school that year there were 11 of us! As we were born Sept 1950-August 1951 and the Princess Royal was born August 1950 it wasn't surprising it was a popular name that year. I also have two neices who are called Rebecca, one is my half brothes and one my step brothers so they have the same surname and share the same Grandfather.

I didnt find many guys who have my name , i mean people who known to me . But there are many famous people who got my name but i dont know them ha ha ha. My name is not rare eventhough.But none of my relatives and friends got my name.

i have 2 friends whose name is same as mine that is Tushar. when we were together and if some outside persone of anyone's relative called him we all see in that direction, so we keep our names as Tushar1 ...2...and 3..when our friends call us they call by tushar2... So you too can use same other such type to avoid more confusion.

Funny...yes I do have someone with the same name in my family. My first name is quite common, but the last, not common at all. So my brother's wife has the same first name...then she gets the same last. She also has the same middle initial AND her birthdate is one day before mine!! We get calls for eachother all the time, even though we live 1200 miles apart.

But my friend has a common name and when a newspaper reported of a plane crash and a girl of nearly about the same age with the exact same name (including last name) was reported it was sort of weird. So i'm glad to have my name.

Yes as a matter of fact i do.I was pregnant with my son and his father who I'm not with any more,has two children with a woman named Terri Fox!My last name is fox.It did bother me,I would be lying if i said it didn't.

i don't have any relatives that have the same name as me... but i do have friends in my workplace who have the same name as me... in fact, there are two of them... one of them work in the same department as me and the other doesn't... fortunately, our department is quite a huge department and it is divided into different parts... and we are not working in the same part... otherwise, there will be lots of confusion... take care and have a nice day...

Yes. My husband named our daughter Patricia after me. Even though this was a nice idea at the time we have found it to be quiet a hassle as she grow up. I open her mail, she opens mine. I will answer the phone and the party will ask if I am Patrica and of course I say yes and then realize half was through the conversation that they wanted my daughter. The way we solved it, mostly, is I am Patricia M and she is Patricia P. It doesn't always work but it helps.

yes i have 3 persons as my friend in my name with my letters.but they are not special like me. they are not great as me in character. one is aplayboy too. so i stopped my interest in searching persons with my name!

actually my name is very popular name vijay which means victory. and i have seen many people with this name in my life, i have many friends with named vijay thank you
