Enjoying The Day!

My dog loves to go outside also only one problem right now is he still can't go out back unless someone is with him because the downed tree limb from next door and the downed part of the fence have not been taken care of yet. I was outside with him just a few minutes ago and there was one of the little squirrels playing around the downed tree limb and he was watching it and I kept telling him to stay there and don't bother it and he did so good and didn't even flinch. He did get a treat and some praise when we come in. I really don't think he would hurt the squirrels, he just likes to run after them and watch them run, the say thing he does with our cat at times.

I don't let my cat out anymore, I had two of my cats stolen and now my Junior stays in the house.

Well down here in Texas it's about 64 degrees today. Too warm for my Siberian Husky's tastes as she likes it when it's cold or rainy out, but my other dogs do enjoy this weather. Mostly though, they're indoor dogs. They've been playing the run-in-circles-through-the-house game this morning. As for brushing, none of them are big fans, so it's a battle to get them to hold still for it! Tooth brushing is another story though -- they love the taste of their toothpaste!

It actually clouded over today for the first time in a long time. We're supposed to get some rain starting later tonight and on through the weekend. But it's still fairly warm out at the moment. Both of my dogs are lounging around in the grass. They go into their houses once in a while, but I think they are enjoying the outside as much as they can right now. They both enjoy being brushed, but it's so hard when they start wiggling because it feels so good. LOL

Buster looks very content. Sherlock loves this kind of weather. He knows he will be walked at least three times a day in this weather. I can't take the hot and humid weather, but this time of the year is easy for me to be out in. When I take him to my parent's house he gets to be off the leash and play, play, play! He likes to be brushed. He'll just lie there and close his eyes, enjoying the attention.

Its supposed to be around 72 or 73 for the high today, then down in the 40's this evening, but inside the house its sure cold, my feet are cold..lol. Maybe I need to do what Buster's doing, go bask in the warm sunshine for awhile, warm up my toes. Yeah, we have squirrels running around, I seen one awhile ago on top of the garage. Our pets are all out laying in the sunshine today, I have one that enjoys being brushed, at first he used to be scared of the brush, but now he loves it..Have a good day

Polly is loving it outside too, she is lounging in the sun soaking up the warmth. the cats are liking the sunshine too.

70 F? how come we have only 53F so far...they say it will be 63F today, still good for Indian summer....I will take my dogs for long walk... Maybe I took my green tomatoes of the plants too soon? I still have some tomato plants and they have few flower.... Enjoy the day....

right now at 6am it's a cool 57 here in s.w.florida but we'll be hitting 80 by noon.left all my squirrels in n.e. jersey up in the mt's but max my dog just loves running after the cranes that land on the lawn looking for the gecco's.he like's brushing but when it come time for scratch,scratch he hides the brush lays on his back and looks at ya like what you haven't started scratching me yet.have a good one

It started out very cold. It was 39 degrees when I dropped my daughter at the bus stop. But it warmed up quickly and nicely. That's good, because she had a field trip. My dog has been out for around and hour, and doesn't want to come in. Turned out to be a nice afternoon.

You lucky thing having those sorts of temperatures, I am getting on the next plane over! Here in the UK it has been horrendous weather for the last week, it has turned bitterly cold and today the temperature right this minute is just 46F. Apparently this is the coldest October we have had here in over 70 years, and in some parts yesterday they had floods and a bizarre hailstorm that dumped inches of hail so it is not nice at all.

I am jealous as it is freeeeeeezing here. I don't have a pet and I truly dislike any 'gifts' so it is just as well...lol

It is 68 degrees and i love it! Unfortunately we don't have a fence so the Tomi and Maxi has to stay on their chains except when i take them for a walk. I have all my windows and doors open and it is wonderful I am even enjoying the 30's at night ( my husband and the boys are not)!LOL

Hello frnds, I have enjoyed the day with good and pleasant day.Today is a 40f for a temperature. I met my frnds in the evening today we were gone outside for a long drive we enjoyed lot we were talked with punchings,funning time good time for us whole day.have a nice day

My cats loved being brushed but they don't like this colder weather we have been having lately and I have gotten a few gifts from my cats like little ground squirrels,rats,moles and other small animals. More of a problem for me then a gift but don't wanna break their hearts so I discard when they leave again.

it is also approaching summer here and the weather is getting hotter and hotter nowadays... i also enjoy the sun as long as it is not too shining or too hot... the problem is, the sun here is really hot and i really can't adapt to it yet even though i had stayed here for more than four years now... it is really scorching your skin... the sun in my home country is not as hot as here... take care and have a nice day...

It was around 75 today, and will be the same for a few days. My old cat is not looking too well, and he does not want to go outside at all. Princess and Creamery however, both love the sun and are finding whatever place they can to soak up some rays. They chase the warmest spots all around the yard.

Buster is adorable. Sounds like a beautiful day you had, very similar to the one we had here. My dogs love being in the backyard on wonderful days like this.

It's beautiful! I have the windows open to air out the house...when I had my dog he loved laying in the sunshine and also loved being brushed!

We have a very stormy day here in nova scotia,canada.We have high winds and rain.There was no power all morning,its back on now but i don't know for how long.I hope you enjoy your nice hot day.
