Do you ever get songs stuck in your head? / myLot

I do! all the time either I hear it on the radio or someone is singing it around me I will wake up with it in my head and it will stick all day long! Don't get me wrong I love music, but sometimes it makes me forget other songs I like, I have to sing something else to get that certain song out of my head.

My hubby does this alot. I do sometimes. You know it may be a jingle from a commercial that you have heard or some tune on the radio. He will come in singing whatever was playing when he was driving so I know what he has been listenting too.

I do get songs that are played on the radio stuck in my head. And since I work in a preschool classroom, I get those songs stuck in my head as well!

Would you believe that I've had two songs stuck in my head since my school days. I find myself singing them at least once a week. I've grown to dislike them intensely. They're two english ballads I learned in school 'Greensleeves' and 'The Minstrel Boy'. I'll hit the big '6' '0' next year which means that I've had this happening for over 40 years. I wish I knew why these have stuck with me for so long. Anyone got any ideas??
