i prefer to do my reading on my bed. i find it comfortable as i can stretch my legs and if the weather is cold, it is cozy to do so in bed with the blanket covering me. i am also able to read longer in bed than if i am sitting up straight in a chair or sofa. i just cannot concentrate. i develop this habit since young during my school days. how about you?

none of the above. the best place for me to read is on cafe where you can always grab your coffee or have piece of cake if you feel like you want to.. but if i have to choose from the two choices you give, id prefer to be on the sofa but without somebody watchin' tv while im reading my book.

I like to read sitting on the sofa or in my big soft armchair. Reading in bed makes me fall asleep, but if the book is interesting I can read it even in bed. But generally I don't care where to read if I have very interesting book.

Hi ChiaEugene, I'm a rather lazy person, so I do most of my reading either sleeping on the sofa or bed. Like you say, it's more comfortable, and if I am tired, I can just go to sleep!

well I can do it in both places. I just find it comfortable reading in bed and in sofa. As long as it is relaxing and comfortable, there is no problem with my reading.

Hey there! Yeah, I like to read while lying on my bed as well. It probably is the most comfortable position I have whenever I read. I very less patience when I'm reading while sitting. I also noticed that I'd understand what I read better when lying down. Just a minor problem though. I get sleepy very easily and I usually can't tolerate around 30 minutes but at least I could understand what I'm reading better.

I personally don't have a preference. I can read on my bed, on a sofa, a chair, or something. It hasn't been something that has been much of an issue for me. I've always read on either.

I prefer to sit on the sofa or any chair - sit upright. Reading books on the bed will definitely make me fall asleep sooner than I actually finished reading 1 or 2 pages.

haha. i am the opposite. sitting on sofa tend to make me drowsy. but i must admit reading on the bed is not good for my eyes compared to sitting upright. That should be the correct posture but i am too lazy to bother about it. hope my son does not follow me.
