Which language do you think the best?

Which language do you think is the most refined,cultured and gives the wide scope and freedom of expression and interpretation.I have a great affinity towards english for its tolerance and acceptance attitude shown towards other languages.Recently an african country [do not remember the name,I think it's angola,if anybody knows it please mention here]changed its official language to english from french.This shows the wide spread acceptance of it's status as a universal language among the world nations.I am not degrading any other languages but only trying to distinguish the varying degree of resilience of various languages.Please share your opinions

Hello! I like my own mother tongue,but I consider English as the most refined and cultured language which is acceptable by all people around the world.It is the only international language and in many countries it is yet the official language.thanx.

every language has its own features so it's hard to say which is the best just as we cannot say which culture is the best. i like english too but i think english becomes a wide spread language not only because of the language itself but also because it is the language used by those developed countries such as the U.S, Britain.

I guess there's no BEST language, really. Because all of the languages existing are distinct with its own uniqueness. As for me, the most reliable language is English. Many people are united because of this language, as it is widely used worldwide. :)
