What do you do with junk mail?

I read the messages first. Some spam mails contain useful information. Check if the sender is a legitimate email address (meaning not autosent) then I delete it. For some that are not useful and informative, I send the "delete me" message or I unsubscribe from it.

Wow, that is amazing. I actually do not know how to delete it. I toss it in the trash - file 13. Shortest way to the landfill I know.
I am always amazed that the environmental groups (Green Peace,etc.) don't get on companies about this huge waste of resources and landfill space.

I too delete them. But, I check the sender's name before deleting. many a times some of my important mail was sent in my spams list. This was because I got the mail from that address for the first time. So after, I had deleted an important mail, I now give a glance before deleting them

I look at who its from, if noone interesting its deleted, otherwise I open and read it.

If by email I just delete it. If by snail mail I give it to my kids.
