Ok, so my wife and I went into Chic-Fil-A tonight for a quick bite and I ordered an eight pack of chicken nuggets. I still haven't figured out what part of the chicken the nugget is and I am sure that I really don't want to know. Anyway, as I was ordering I asked the young man taking my order in what size the packs of nuggets were available. He responded with: "One, Four, Eight and Twelve." I had to clarify and asked if he actually said "One". Sure enough, they offer a one pack of chicken nugget. Who knew? Who and why would anyone really buy just one? I mean one! That's not enough for a mouse. He did inform me that he had never, ever sold one and that no one who worked there had sold one either. Did you have any idea that they sold a One Pack? Would you buy it? Have you ever bought one? It was thirty four cents by the way for one.

Some grocery stores sell fast food items, that you cook yourself at home. If you look at the ingredients for chicken nuggets you will see they are made up of rib meat. And no, there is no way I would pay 34 cents for one nugget.

It depends how much the 4 pack costs. I know at Wendys you can get a 5 pack of chicken nuggets for 99 cents, and I think you can get a 4 pack at McDonalds for a dollar. If it's more expensive at Chick-Fil-A and you know your kid is only going to eat one and you aren't going to eat the extra nuggets, it sounds like a deal.

That's probably the weirdest thing I've ever heard. Why do they keep it on the market if it doesn't sell? Hmmm. It's like selling one french fry or an ice cube. Who would do that? Haha. I guess I would understand if they sold it by the nugget and not the bunch...but they don't.
No, I wouldn't buy it. It would seem like a waste of gas money and time to go to a restaurant to buy one small nugget. If you're not that hungry, which obviously you're not, wait till you are. Maybe it's for those who are on a diet? Or who just recently got gastric bypass surgery? Or maybe it's for your new baby kitten?
I'm just trying to make sense of it.
Haha. CRAZY.

What part of the chicken that the nuggets came from would not worry me, but what was put on the chicken. All of that msg, nitrates, etc that is put on and in our food is bad for us and may cause us to get cancer.

I guess if you aren't that hungry, or maybe just want to try a nugget to see if you would like it that would make sense. You would think though that the box that they would put it in would actually cost more than the one nugget itself. I prolly would have ordered it just because I could heheheh.

Well, I think the idea is for marketing purposes, although I don't think it served up well for that matter. I mean who would buy a one pack? People on diet I think. Heehee. Have a nice day.

No I haven't tried yet. But I guess this one piece is for those who are on diet. One piece is all they've got..lol... Even their loaf of bread is only a half. Could you imagine just eating or ordering half of a loaf bread? and also half of a hard-boiled egg? I hope you've enjoyed your meal though. happy mylotting.

a one pack. one. um..i cannot think of any occasion where i would even be tempted to waste 34cents on a single nugget. there HAS to be some reason behind it. perhaps by showing you'd have to fork over 35cents for ONE..they are trying to encourage you to choose the bigger packs by that whole "buy in bulk for less" thing.
by the way...i thought only the roosters had "nuggets". dwell on that one LMAO!!

Ok, right now I am literally dying of laughter LOLOLOLOL... while reading this post. It's too bad I did not inquire at the local Chick-Fil-A about this several years ago and I will definitely be mentioning this to a friend of mine. Had I known this, I could have ordered ONE NUGGET for my daughter. When she was about 2 she probably would only eat ONE lol. Can't beat 34 cents for a nugget, especially a nice hot crispy one with a pack of sauce for dipping! I might have to do this next time I am down there just to say I have lol.

Most chicken nuggets are bits and pieces pressed together. Chick - Fil - A's nuggets are made from white meat chicken. They are not chopped and pressed..........just so you know.*S*
I did not know that they offered a one piece. That sounds kind of silly, to me. The one that I go to has 6.8, and 12 piece packs.
One piece? Just a lonely little nugget in the box, all by its lonesome? How

After reading some of the post I believe sometime it is best not to know where some of the things we eat come from. Especially if you have already eaten it.
My grandmother used to tell us all that don't kill you will make you fat.
I have never bought a one piece chicken nugget.
