hello, fellow myLotters..
i'm wondering how many of us here run regularly..
i'm thinking of getting serious with my running and i was hoping i could get some pointers on hydration.. my question is: how many liters do you consume: 1 week prior to a 10K run? 1 day pre-run?

I run almost all the time. Although I'm not quite sure how much water I drink the week before a 10K run. I just keep a full water bottle with me at all times, and sip on it. If i'm thirsty I drink more, and try to stay away from coffee, and soda which dehydrates your body.
I don't think there is reall a magic number because of different needs due to body weight, weather, etc, etc.

right on, runningpoet.. no real magic number, indeed.. say, i'm interested in your name.. do you recite poems while you run? :)
