I LOVE getting paid to talk! Who's with me?

Good Sunday morning, mentalward! Like some others I seldom respond to money making issues, as I don't have the time to spend on my computer, but for some-one like you, and your well rounded knowledge on many issues...you deserve your richs! I always look for your discussions, but it requires a lot of computer time as I no longer get notifications of responses...and I don't know why! There are times also, when responding to a discussion, I will refer people to you & your thoughts on a similar issue...I guess you are the "guru" of myLot! P.S. good decision on your knee! Cheers!

I agree with you about money not being the main reason I'm here! I love this place and everything else we get from it; friendship, comeraderie, learning, teaching, joking, laughing, supporting, etc. This really is a wonderful social site with many wonderful people always willing to share a bit of themselves. I'd be here even if I didn't earn a penny! It just kinda bonked me in the head about how much money I was actually making from these sites! It came on a day when I received $40.00; $20.00 in paypal and $20.00 in checks in the mail. I hadn't really thought about just how much one can make online before that. I doubt I could enjoy myLot at all if it meant I had to WORK to create discussions or responses. I've noticed that some people see it that way; as if it were work. I just enjoy the heck out of myself and the money part of it takes care of itself. All the money in the world couldn't compare with the other things I've gotten from myLot; the great friends I've made, awesome advice, side-splitting laughs, some really kicka$$ recipes, and all the rest. I especially want to thank you, p1kef1sh, for your response, since you don't respond to these kinds of posts.

Thanks! It's people like you that make it so much fun to be here in myLot! I adore my time here! I feel guilty sometimes because I know I should be doing other things but just can't check in at least once every day. LOL Some of the survey sites also pay very well. If you hunt around long enough, you're bound to find some great sites that pay well. Some are bogus, but there are some great ones and I love giving my opinion, even if it's wrong. At least in myLot, I've learned so much! That's my other hobby... learning. Talking and learning... I love 'em both! Take care and happy myLotting!

Hahahaha! Yep, you sound like me. I'm here for the TALKING, not the money! But, getting paid for it is like icing on the cake! I belong to a few survey sites as well that pay very handsomely and it just hit me exactly how much I was actually earning in a month! Sure, it won't support a person, but it's sure a nice way to make some extra spending money! Just doing what comes naturally... talking. Well, it doesn't hurt to be a half-decent typist, either. LOL And it's not just myLot! The survey sites ask questions and want your opinion. Most of the time it's a multiple-answer sort of thing but sometimes they want you to actually write out an answer. That's right up my alley! I've never been known to be a wallflower!

Hahaha! I'll say! You can't live on what you make with these things but it sure is nice to have a little extra spending money! The only way I can think of to earn enough just by talking is by being a radio or television host and that's just not me. Well, I can't get out and work full time so this is the next best thing!!!
