One of the girls in my pregnancy group for May 2007 births had identical twin boys. She tried to get pregnant again but it didn't happen. She gave up and went on holiday then found out she was pregnant. She had her first scan at 12 weeks and was amazed that it was twins a second time. Then at 20 weeks pregnancy she found out they will be another set of identical twin boys. Wow! The chances of having twins is rare but twice sounds amazing. What do you think about two sets of twins in the same family? Do you know any twins?

My great great grandfather was a child in a family of 21 children by the same Mother and I forget if there were two or three sets of twins. I think they were identical because I have twin relatives that pop up on that side of the family every once in awhile and none have been fraternal yet, but they could have been. But twins twice in a row naturally without those invetro procedures, that's amazing! That has to be rare. But so does 21 children by the same Mother. Take care

Wow! Twenty one children was enough to open their own school. It is amazing that your great grandfather had so many brothers and sisters including two or three sets of twins. His mother must have been pregnant for most of her life. Yes, twins run in families. My sister's mother in law wanted a daughter and she had five boys. My brother-in-law lives in England and his twin lives in Canada. Take care and have a lovely day my friend.

I would guess there is history of multible births on her husband's side, The odds here must be amazingly high, bot I'd love two sets of twins. Are these two boys also? I hope they're girls for her sake.

I think her husband has twins in his family but she will be they will be the only ones with two sets of twins. The hospital think the twins yet to be born are both boys. Yes, it would have been better if they were girls to balance the gender in their family.

Wow! That is really amazing! Two sets of identical twins! The odds of that are slim, I would imagine. When I was in elementary school, there was a girl in my class that I talked to on regular bases had an identical twin brother. There was also twin sisters who were one or two grades behind me.

WOW that sounds amazing. I know of a family who already had twins and then wanted a third child, what happend was that they got tripllets that time. They were 25y old with five kids...without really planning it. Still cute though :))

Oh my, that is lovely to have twins and then triplets. The parents must have been delighted. That was a quick way to get five children. I know a lady that tried to get pregnant for eight years and when she began she was 20 years old. She then had identical twin boys.

that's nice. two sets of twins! well, i also have a twin niece and nephew. they are not identical. they are now 10 years old and both were healthy when they were born. i think having twins runs in the blood. i think it is hereditary. so if your family has a history of having twins, chances of you having twin children are probable.

It is great that you have a twin niece and nephew. It was lucky that they were healthy when born. My friend had a two year old daughter then had went into labor whilst on holiday. Her twin girls were put in incubators in different hospitals. They are both now healthy but weak when born.

I know one set of twins and I always get them confused! I would LOVE to have twins though myself. But if I did, I would stop after the one set. I would only want two kids and I think it would be great to get it over all at once. I would hope for either twin girls or a girl and a boy though.

I have heard of multiple sets of twins being born into the same family many times. I know one set of twins. They were named King and Queen at the last Homecoming dance at my daughter's high school. Their pictures were taken and published in the local newspaper. They both work at the same place but on different work shifts.

That's pretty cool! Apparently my paternal great grandmother had a twin brother. I never knew this until I spotted it on my family tree. I also have a cousin who has twin daughters. Though I wouldn't doubt the in vitro she had, had something to do with it.

Wow... that is like hitting four birds with two stones... i know a family with two sets of twins... in my country... having twins is something that will bring a family good luck... so a lot of women dream of having twins... i myself would love to have twins... but that sort of thing is not a common thing in my family... but i am hoping that a miracle would happen... that when i get pregnan again... i would have twins of my own...

I don't know anyone with multiple sets of twins, but I do know several sets of twins. There are twin girls at the daycare I work at and they just turned two. I went to school with several sets of twins. I always wondered what it was like for them. My grandma says there are twins in my family, but I've never met them. She says it's my generations turn for twins, so we'll see.

Another twins coming up! Congratulations! That is double double blessings! The first twins gave you double blessings, another twins means another double blessings so it's double, double blessings! Ha!ha!ha! I can't help but be amazed. This is the first time I've heard of having two twins in the family. Oh I love twins. I find them really cute. We have twins in the family. They are also identical. They turned 3 years old last month and this twins have been the apple of our eyes. They are making our days happy and gay with their cute antics. Oh they are one lovable jolly twins.

it is really very surprising to have twins in two pairs in the same family and might be it a fun when when we listen this but it is difficult to the parents to look after them. but it is still surprising. i had one of my cousins and they are twins and they are the only one twins found in our whole family and i think in that generation among all.
