Do you give your phone number to anyone who asks it?

Hi. No I do not give my phone number to anyone who asks it. You are right that there are some incidents like robbery, theft, deception and other schemes that will be detrimental to someone else's life or property. Nowadays it is very difficult to trust a stranger because as the Bible mentions it, BE WISE BECAUSE THE DAYS ARE EVIL. Happy myLotting.

i dont think its a good idea to give your number to peopl you dont know. so many problems arise evne from people you know. so we can imagine the kind of trouble that can come our way.

It depends if your lifestyle rely's on communicating with random people everyday. Many people make a living off talking to as many people as possible in one day. Others prefer to be selective in when it comes their personal bubble. The best thing to do is create an email account using an alias for people your not sure of and give out the email address out.

hey,masmasika,you are right,the crime of using your telephone number on the rise,such as racketeer.I only give them who ask the phone for me the office number,and sometimes I'll give my cellphone number to somebody because business,but nobody except my relation and friends know the number of my home.I think that if you tell everyone your phone number,you are at the risk of dangerous.

I got two mobile phone, so 1 i give everyone who ask for, and another 1 only give to the one i wish to.

it's hard to give any people my number. it's really hard to find people who is trust worthy nowadays. but i easily give trust. but i didn't give anybody my number, because its a waste of time communicating with them.

Hi there. I don't just give my phone number to anyone who asks for it. It's like getting into trouble intentionally. I give my number to close friends and just in case I give it to them, I would remind them not to pass it along.

i dont give my number to anyone who doesnt need it. if i didnt give you my number and dont want you with it you will be able to know by the time we got off the phone.

Giving the telephone number like as we announcing our residence to others. Even here we have an security ones. Its so dangerous when bad people by white/yellow pages so they know our residence location. Unless to our friend or family, better we don't give the number at all.

Hi frnds, I will never give my phone number to any one i don't unknown persons.Nowadays become a problem that if we giving our phones numbers to unknown persons we will face a problem they will a theft,stranger.We have to ask his number once we have to call him wheather his giving a correct number or wrong number if its correct number he is a honest man and we can conform. I absolutely say no! the stranger will chating me. i can refuse that. if i knew who ask for my telphone number, may be i will give it. remembered just who ones that i trusted

hi, well,if you are a female you shouldnt give numbers to strangers.Not safe at all.And even for men,I dont think giving the number out to just anyone is a good idea. happy mylotting:)

no,i dont &its not also advisable to do so even.u never know what kind of person is he whom u r givin ur no.there r instances when numbers have been misused.they might b racketeers,involved in some sort of rackets or scandals & u may b unecessarily dragged into it.so take my advice,dont share ur fone no.with someone whom u dont trust .be it a boy or girl.

yah, there are some incidents happen through cell phones, like kidnapping incident so we must be careful to whom we will give our number, don't post it in the internet, maybe somebody will try to use it for bad purposes

I rarely ever give out my phone number. I have a phobia of phones. I hate talking on them, so I only give my number out to people I know won't call me just to call me. I never give it to companies or anything that will call me to talk about their services.

I only give my phone number to my close friends. For everyone else, I give them my e-mail address and tell them I'm more likely to respond to that then a call to my phone.

No i don't. I already have a gf if it was a girl asking for it. i would not give it out nowadays anyways. I'm scared my number could be lost or actually thrown away, and i wouldn't want certain people knowing it. If its just a person in general id think id wait to get to know them more or become friends with them.

Yes I am also very descriminating as to who i give my number to.Personally I like to get to know the person first before either giving or getting their number .My biggest fear is to give my number to a compulsive caller ,someone who calls you for even the the most trivial of situations and at the most ackward of times.

As you said its risky to give our phone number to others and so I also dont give numbers to others.But the suggestion you gave that we should ask their number and call them is not that good because through that we cant be sure that the person is a honest one.So I think before giving numbers to anyone we should try to know him and if we think that you can trust him then only you should give it. sorry, if my response hurted you in anyway .I didnt mean that.
