friend or wife

One of my best friends intends to borrow 10 thousand yuan from me,I agree to lend it to him,but my wife disagrees with me.She thought there must be a problem in his family,his wife and he has a disagreement between them,he can't lack that amount of money.I try my best to persuade my wife to lend it to him as he gave me some help when i was in trouble.But no matter what I say,my wife insists on not lending it to him.She warns me that if I lend it to him,she will divorce with me.What should I do,friend or wife?

Hi aringwi Its true you in so difficult situation. You must more carefully. Its very sensitive one But please follow the fact, your friend is your friend, but your wife is your wife beside as your friend also. Lets try to help him with other ways that you can do so.

i don't want to divorce with my wife and i also don't want to lose a friend.There must be a solution.Someone else may lend some money to him.

hello aringwi, if i were you, i should have asked my wife first before lending money to your friend, to see to it if we have available extra money for anything else that is more important than your friend's. i should say, we need to discuss it first before hand to avoid quarrels and misunderstandings and might result to divorce. but no not a thing, hope to settle it now before it wrecks your family.

I haven't lent it to him,i asked my wife first,but she refused to lend it.SO we have a quarrel.She warned me not to lend the money,or she will divorce with me.

when you say he has helped you before why you think twice now... if its really big amount and your wife is insecure you better check with your friend as to why he needs it and explain about your wife's insecurities....

Hi aringwi! Why your best friend need this money? Have you talked to your wife about the reason you want to help your friend? And why your wife disagree this so strongly? If you decide to lend, pls be prepared that you cannot get it back.

As you've said,he helped you when you were in trouble,probably it is now the right time to help in return.It is just might be how you explain to your wife why you want to help your friend and besides you are lending him that means he has the intention of giving it back,Is it really that big deal as to why your wife would give you the ultimatum of divorce?

My wife thought his wife has that amount of money,but he borrow money from me,it means that there is a contridiction between them.
