How to boost up bitcomet download speed?

I ever used some software like bitcomet accelerator, but it seems like not working at all. Any other way can boost up bitcomet download speed that wont cost anythings?

yeah,just forward your ports and you'll get more incoming connections and hence more speed.

You could really boost your torrent speed to some extent but that doesn't guarantee you that you could enjoy that speed always. You may notice also that even with numerous seeds sometimes the download speed is so slow. I believe torrent speed is dictated by the source speed, even if you have a highly optimized rig but the your sources channel and PC are slow your download would still take time.
