myLot was so slow last Saturday! I would have wanted to post and post and post for I had not much things to do and was alone and free to indulge at myLot! But how could I do that if the page was obviously into heavy traffic. I was so frustrated! I hate wasting time, I could not just sit lazily in front of my computer. I was not in the mood to go to other web pages either! Before my frustration ruin my whole day... I dressed up and went shopping alone as early as 10:00 AM. And you know what? It was a blessing in disguise. There was a big SALE! Ha!ha!ha! I had a lot of time and was able to complete my Christmas shopping for gifts at bargain prices! Hurray!
Have you had any annoying or bad experience that turned out to be a blessing in disguise?

Oh well maybe your guardian angel just got bored with what you're doing that's why they made the site rather slow. Anyway,it was indeed nice to know that there was a bit of a change in the routine that you usually do on Saturdays. I was also out the whole of Saturday and Sunday. My parents were here in Manila and we have to take them to the malls after visiting our beloved departed. On Sunday we also went to more malls haha! I think it is a rare opportunity spending time with parents especially they are both living back in the provinces.

Hehe well sometimes angels do something to divert out attention to something that we need to do. Well I have to attend to my parents since they are in need of medical attention and their doctor is here. Affectionate well that made me think too. Sometimes I feel that I am doing this as an obligation but thinking deeper I think you right I am just not the showy kind of person but I do love them and care for them at the end of the day.

Hmmm, you made me think it was really so! Ha!ha!ha! Yes, sometimes it pays to have a change of routine. I'm glad to know both your parents are still living and had the time to be with you in the city. I'm sure they enjoyed being at the mall. How nice of you to be so affectionate to you parents. I salute you my friend! Keep that up. I'm sure God will bless you all the more and your children will do the same to you! Cheers

That's was truly a blessing in disguise. Me too are hunting for sales. I have to budget my money this coming holiday season. Sales are great way to save money. I just hope that I could find a decent sales at malls for my Christmas gifts. It's hard to buy gifts with the high prices nowadays.

Now is the time to hunt for sales. The shops are disposing their old stocks to replace them with new ones. Oh those new stock will certainly be a lot expensive because they are at regular price. Come and go to the mall and hunt the biggest bargains around. Don't wait for the last minute shopping because that would cost you more. Happy shopping!

Oh really? I did not notice that mylot was slow this week end because I am not in mylot hahahaha... anyway, that is good my friend.. really a blessing to you. I can't remember of the same instance that my annoying situation turns to be a blessing. Where did you go for your shopping? in Divisoria, or in Tutuban? I remember those places when I was in Manila. Those are my favorite places for bargains and Baklaran too. Well, anyway, good for you, you already have something for Christmas.. I never have a single item to give out.

Ha!ha!ha! How could you notice when you were out! Well, it was really a blessing. I went to the Festival SuperMall. It's near our place and I found so many SALE at the Robinson's. Imagine clothes at 50% off. Great indeed! I don't know how to shop at Divisoria. I went there once but I was so confused and could not stand the big crowd. I also have not been to Baclaran in all my life. I don't even know how to go there. Ha!ha!ha! I'm sometimes ashamed of myself.

hahaha now I know you my friend, you never go to places like that.. hahahah You shop in the first class store like Robinson? hahah those are stores for actors and actresses.. the Place where Cris Aquino usually shop hahaha.. Well, I am not from Manila but I've been there many times specially summer time. That's when I had my postgraduate study in AIIAS Silang Cavite? during off days I always go to the places I mentioned just to see what others had said. Yes, Divisoria is confusing and risky with pickpockers hahaha but then, I manage to go around that place safe.. hahaha...

Hey salonga! That was a great blessing! You finished your
Christmas shopping already! I so envy you! I haven't even
started yet! I am so dreading it too! I never get it done
until almost the last minute when the stores are packed!
I hate going so close to Christmas too! I am really going
to try to get it done early this year. But in order to
do that I need to start saving some money now! I am not
working so it will not be a big list or a big budget. I
am only buying things for my boyfriend and maybe 2-3
friends if that many. Most of my friends and I don't
bother exchanging gifts because we all can't afford it
and have others to get gifts for. So that makes things
a bit easier. My boyfriend has a birthday in November
right around Thanksgiving so I first have to get him
a birthday gift! So I won't be ready to start Christmas
shopping until after I get that taken care of!

Hi Opal! Yes, this is the first time in all my life that I finished Christmas shopping without cramming! Ha!ha!ha! It was really a blessing. I am used to beating the last minute left before Christmas and that was really so stressful. I'm happy that I need not do that anymore. It's okay if you don't have the budget to give out gifts for a lot of people. We can always show our love in a hundred different ways. But with your boyfriend...it's a must that you have something for him! Cheers!

Yip yip.....hurray! great to hear about the sale i hope you saved lot of money when buying products which were on sale
Mylot can be extremely slow during weekends, and i've always believed tha is the cause of lot of traffic it experience, at first, on weekends lot of people are at home and stay online for long time, and you'll mostly experience that Mylot becomes slow for most the time during weekends
I think they have to do some upgrades here

You are right with your observation, it is during weekends that myLot is really running so low. Indeed more people who are on day off are log in here so traffic is really that tight. Well, I have no patience! I'd rather do other thing. You are right, myLot need to do some upgrading. Paging myLot!!!
Thanks for sharing!

I think that it is funny sometimes how things happen, at the time we think it is just bad luck but then looking back on it feels like it happened for a reason. If your computer had been running properly you would have not gone out and would have missed that sale!

Yes, indeed! Surely there are blessings in disguise. Imagine had not the computer ran that low, I would have stayed all day long lotting but missing the big one day SALE. I'm really glad I was able to avail of the big discounts and have finished all my shopping for the gifts.

Just "shows to go ya" that there's a reason for everything. Sometims I do think the annoying situations in life are trying to redirect us somewhere else. }

Yes, exactly it's a signal to do something else that could be very very beneficial. Indeed it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It's one lesson that instead of getting irritated over one thing that did not go your way. Look for alternative that could prove to be more profitable.

So you too is experiencing terrible traffic here during weekends. Users normally indulge here on Saturdays and Sundays which is understandable 'coz those are days off. Imagine 5 minutes before one page could be loaded. That is a waste of time so better do something else. Thanks for sharing friend!

Hi there friend...
Some may profess and believe, as I do, that everything happens for a reason. One could be dealt the wrong hand or faced with unwanted circumstances but come out of it having a winning smile...it just takes a perspective view on things. Your frustration did not really dampen your spirit, it just gave you enough reason to pick up and do other things you may not have thought to be worthwhile. I seem to have missed on "blessings in disguise" as of late, but I sure know that blessings have come my way everyday I wake up.
The Christmas bells and stockings over at your side surely must be filled with goodies for all. Perhaps I can come knocking at your doorsteps singing carols for some blessings this Christmas...hehehe.
Happy mylotting...

Right you are my dear! There are blessings that do not disguise at all. All we need is to just open our eyes and look around. There are a hundred and one blessings we have to thank for!
I hope to really see you knocking at my door one of these days my friend! Make sure it's Christmas time when you come! Ha!ha!ha!

I had a traumatising experience that proved to be the beginning of my life. I was warm and comfortable, then I was in a bright, cold room, unable to get my breath. Then a man hit me and I hear this horrible noise, only to realise that it's coming from my mouth! Next I realise I'm covered in some disgusting sort of fluid, and just as I'm about to lose my lunch I get cleaned off and wrapped in a blanket so some strange lady can stare at me! It was horrible, but I've gained a lot since then that wouldn't have been possible otherwise. .

Yes Lingli, do it now. The shops are disposing the old stocks. They will display new ones in a week or two in time for the coming holidays. They are now selling at 50 and even as high as 70% off. It's not good to do shopping in December or late November because by that time all the prices have already increased. They know the people have received their bonuses and have money to buy so they don't offer good bargains anymore. So common and shop now my friend! Cheers!
