The best hotel for me would be Discovery Suites in Ortigas Manila. They have great staff who would always greet you with a genuine smile. They are always on the go! Whatever request you asked them would be granted by them. They will find a way to satisfy your needs. They treat all their guest VIPs and they escort the guest by themselves to their rooms. I'm looking forward in staying there again.
The worst hotel would be Hotel Supreme in Baguio City. I was there for my friend's wedding. I was very disappointed because their staff are so snooty!!!We asked for an additional key since we left they key in the room yet their response was why we left it knowing they issue one key. I was liked kinda HELLO?WE LEFT UNINTENTIONALLY!SO WE ARE JUST ASKING A FAVOR IF YOU CAN JUST ISSUE OR IF YOU OPEN THE ROOM FOR US INSTEAD? But the look on her face was really obvious that she was irritated!!!hush!! I will never go back to that hotel.

Worst was one in Paris, no seat on the toilet, no clean towels, stale rolls for breakfast, no cold milk for the tea. Yuk

I have stayed at many beautiful hotels, but the first one that came to mind was the Opreyland Hotel. It was georgeous inside and out. YOu could walk threw the courtyard, and see the little rivers with boats ect. It was just so quiant.
The worst hotel I stayed at was one in South Carolina. We stopped there on the way to Florida and my husband got in bed only to find out he sat on wet sheets!!! GROSS!

Yikes!!!that's a no!no! for a hotel. I'm a hotelier by the way, a shift leader in the front office department. We always make sure that our guests payment for their stay would be worth it. We don't want to disappoint them. That hotel must be closed then because they don't give guest extra mile service. Sad!^^/

Yeah, it was so gross. We asked for another room and they did give us one, but I thought that we shouldnt' be charged the full price for our inconvience.

I like to stay in locally owned guest houses or unusual accommodation. The best accommodation that I stayed in was a tree house called Parrots Nest in Belize. It has a thatched roof and was high off the ground. The most luxurious hotel I stayed in was a five star hotel in Istanbul. After backpacking in Turkey my ex-boyfriend craved some luxury. The worst hotel I stayed in was in Sumatra, an island in Indonesia. My room had a door like a horse's stable and it has two single beds. I sat down on on of the bed and a traveler's message on the wall said "The beds have bed bugs and flees so check out now" so I was scared. I went and told the manager and changed to a triple room that was more expensive. It has a normal door, a double bed and a single bed. It was late at night so I just wanted to go to bed. My backpack was on the floor and plastic bags had come out of it. That night I heard something walking across the plastic bags, mice or rats. The next day I was desperate to find a decent place to stay. I asked other backpackers and they told me about a charming guest house. That was a huge improvement.

So far i have only been to bangkok, and the worst hotel i have stayed in was, Baiyoke suite.. The attitude of all the staffs is good but not the assistant manager, and i was actually quite shocked with ther service..
1stly, we asked for a non smoking level, but she gave us the opposite.. So we went down, ask for a change because that's not what we wanted.. So she gave us a slightly bigger room, but this time, there were cockroaches in the room, and so we went down again.. WHen we told her about the cockroaches, her respond to us is that, weather is hot, so very normal to have cockroaches, and that she offered to send the bell hoc to the room to catch the cockroaches!!
I tell her no, and insist on changing rooms again, and this time round, we finally got the room we wanted after so much hassle.. ANd after which, i never ever went back there again..
As for best hotel, i have not really seen one that's outstanding just yet, for all of them provides equally great service ^_^

The best hotel was probably the Westin in Chicago along the Chicago River. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and an excellent restaurant for breakfast. The staff knew all of the good places to see in the city and how to get there. The worst hotel was one in Ottawa Canada. Think Canadian version of British Hotel nightmare and that's all I should have to say.
