How Do You Put Your Digital Photos On Your Computer?

How do you transfer your digital photos from your camera to your computer? Do you use a USB cable? Do you use a card reader? Do you send your memory card to a photo processor and get the photos put on a CD? Or do you use some other way? I use a card reader. I think it's the easiest way to transfer photos, and you don't have to use your camera batteries to transfer photos. That means you have more battery power for when you're photographing! What about you?

You can transfer directly the images to the computer from the camera through USB cable or remove the memory card from the camera and insert it in a card reader. I agree, it's easier to use the card reader.

Mine has a cable which I could attach and then it just transfers all on itself to My Pictures folder under the current date's folder. It's quite easy because I just plug it in and turn it on, then it goes on transferring and it's fast too, wouldn't even drain a bar or half out of my battery life, no need to recharge. I don't know about other people though, they say they do it manually. But I guess they didn't read their manuals or installed their cds properly. Mine just really sips everything out hehehe.. =)

For SD cards I use a card reader built into my laptop; most computers manufactured in the last few years seem to incorporate one of these; for CF cards I have a Canon manufactured PCMCIA adapter more or less permanently installed in the PC Card slot, and for all other cards, I use a USB card reader. I generally use Corel Downloader to manage the downloads, because not only does it give me good control over where the images go and what they are renamed on download, but they then optionally open in PaintShopPro's Express Lab for initial review and editing.

i dont have a digital camera, but i have an lgku990r fone that acts like a digital camera fone with a 5 megapixel feature . I can easily transfer the digital photos using bluetooth, i can also transfer the photos through usb cable. I never tried card reader yet, because i dont want to open the battery cover from time to time.

Hi there trickwoo! I used to use a USB cable to attach my digital camera to my computer to transfer photos. That's because I don't have a card reader. Now that I have a laptop, I just remove the memory stick from my digital camera and insert it into a slot in my laptop to view and save the photos in my computer. It became easier for me because I don't have to look for my USB cable every time I need to download my pictures.
