in this day and age when the hurly burly of everyday activities seem to overwhelm us, do you still find time to talk to Him? even to just maybe thank Him for all the wonderful things in life that you have despite the difficulties you are facing at the moment? i talk to Him as often as possible. i'm not a religious person, mind you, but somehow, our conversations in my mind soothe me.
how about you? how often do you talk to him?

I often talk to my god. In fact I do it five times a day as it is obligated in my religion. I pray for the Subuh, Zuhur, Asar, Maghrib and Isya'. After every prayer I will recite some verses from the Quran and if I have not enough time I would just recite verses I had known by heart. It is always calm and peaceful after each prayer. I like talking to God about my problems and ask him to help me. I believe every prayer is heard by God. Sooner or later each of our requests will be granted by him. In my case, it has.

The first thing i do before getting out of bed is to remember God and then i keep on repeating His name throughout the day, when brushing my teeth ,in the loo, while bathing, while having breakfast, lunch, dinner and when going to sleep.People tend to forget God when they are prosperous and remember Him in their difficult days, but that should not be the case. It is He who has given us our life and the freedom to do whatever we want. For all that He has given to us and for all that He is doing for us we must show our gratitude by thanking Him daily.Sometimes we do not get what we ask for and then we get angry with Him and tirn away but we must realize that perhaps what we had asked for was not meant for us. He usually gives us what we need and not what we want.God will never forsake us and in times of need He will be at our side and help us. For that we must be grateful.

very nicely put i agree with you completely that we should not only remember God when we have problems. we should most importantly remember Him for all the things that He blessed us with. have a good day!

i'm sure He is. remember the saying, that God answers all our prayers, even if it takes time, or it is in a way that we have not asked? i think its true

I pretty much talk to Him often too. I always ask His advice on the day-to-day decisions that I have to make, regardless how small or how huge it is. It's really nice to get to talk to Him throughout the day, it seems that having to talk to Him a lot makes your day a little less heavy. Plus it makes me feel that He's just there, like a friend, helping me out in my decisions and thoughts.

very well said. decisions are easier to make when you have talked it out with Him first. and even though He does not literally speak to us, in His own wise ways, He lets us know how we should deal with things in our life. have a good day!

Everyday i talk to God, it is my habit. I feel that i have so many things to talk to him, for all the blessing i recieved and the protection He gave to me. Talking to God is the best way to have a spiritual growth and understanding his power. Make it a habit everyday. Happy posting.

same here. not a church goer too. but in my view, it's not how often you go to church that matters, what's important is your belief in Him.

i don't traditionally pray all the time, but i do talk to god on occasions. to thank him or to ask for help. mostly i talk to him to ask for protection for myself and my family. every time i drive i ask for god to protect me on this journey and to help me make the right decisions and to keep evil and harm away from me.

I talk to God often. I must to keep my sanity and keep my faith. If it wasn't for Him there would be nothing. I'm not religious myself, but I know where my help comes from. I also try to thank him often; just for being alive and well.

Personally I believe its important to thank gim for all the blessings as well. I pray every night and morning. I think that those moments of prayer in the day really help shape ones day. I constantly feel that the day will run a lot better when I pray.

Me too! I'm not really religious, however I do talk to him several times a day. When I rise, I thank him for giving me another day. At night I thank him for all that I've accomplished and pray for tomorrow. During the day, I will take some time to again remember my blessings and thank him once more!

I try to talk to God as often as I can too, thats what he wants us to do, is talk to him about things that bother us, or things that we worry about, he wants to help us, if we would just let him. It makes me feel better too when I do...

hello, i talks to God everyday before i go to bed and the first thing when i open my eyes. at times I find myself talking with Him at any time of the day when i needed Him and His wisdom on the things that I do. In silence i find strength just embracing God's wonderful promises to us.

I guess I kind of talk to God if that makes any sense! I pray to the Universe or the Universal power so I guess you could refer to that as God. I constantly pray everyday and give thanks for what I have in life, I think that this is very important. I feel good when I give thanks and it kind of makes me believe that more good things are on the way! I take nothing for granted in life and I give thanks for the very air that I breath. Most importantly, I guess I give thanks for the fact that I can see, I can hear, I can walk and I have my health. Thank you. Andrew

I talk to God often. When you make him the center of your life then you find time. If you claim to know God and you say you no of his grace and mercy and his redemtion then you yearn to be close to him..Let me ask you..Would you go days, weeks, months, or even years without talking to your spouse??????? All the more we should talk to almighty God! Im not perfect (not even close) but I do rise at 4 am before the kids are up and before the bills get paid and before the dishes get done to spend time with my personal lord and savior........May this encourage you becasue my 4am prayer time changed my life!

I talk to God as much as possible, mind you I'm not insane. lol. Seriously, I have been a christian for a long time and I know what life is like without him and it is really hopeless. I don't know if he is real, I mean to say I cannot prove it, but even if he isn't just knowing that someone out there loves me and is there for me is awesome. Also if he is not real if I do live by what the bible said my life will be better anyway, because the bible is a great outline on how to live your life.
