A healthy breakfast is the best way to start off our day. Studies shows that children who eat breakfast can do better in their studies and other activities. When you skip breakfast you are likely to become tired because your brain and body needs fuel to run. Some people are skipping their breakfast for weight loses. In fact people who eat breakfast will be able to maintain their weight. If you have a healthy breakfast that contains protein and fiber will helps you to stay healthy.
So have your breakfast everyday and be good to yourself.
Are you the one who skip breakfast for any reason?

So Sree I hope you got the point...Most people skip their meals once a day to control their diet, but dear cupid here will have nothing of the sort...He eats to his hearts content every day and goes on a fast for Ramzan for a month at a stretch to shed his extra baggage, and tries to become trim and fit...He is a perfectionist in every way and does not believe in half measures......

I do not skip breakfast. It's the only meal that I must have. The only time I skip breakfast is when I am doing the medical physical and the doctor said don't eat. I always request his first appointment so I can ran out after to eat.

I have not eaten breakfast for years and yes I know it is not good for me but I just cannot get up in a morning and sit and eat food. I have my first bite of something to eat around the 11.00am mark and that does me then until my evening meal. My children eat a breakfast, they have cereal or toast but occasionally they get up and are not hungry so I do not force them to eat I just send them to school with some money for breakfast club and they get some toast there.

When I was younger I used to skip breakfast not until I've read that skipping it is not a good habit. Sad to say many skip this meal unaware of it's importance. This is the most important meal of the day. It's breaking the fast we've undergone after long time of having partaken nothing during the night. You are right, we become tired because we have run out of fuel needed by our brain so students and active people really need to take breakfast and even those who are not because skipping breakfast is depriving ourselves of the necessary fuel to keep us going for the whole day. I do eat mostly fruits and fresh juices in the morning plus wholewheat bread or rolled oatmeal. I also take lots of water in the morning. It's working great for me!

Hi Salonga,
You know most people are aware of the importance of having a healthy breakfast then also they just not bothered and skip it and I think this is the worst part. If somebody ignorant about the matter can be justified but some are well aware of the fact but simply blaming the time.
I am happy to know that you are regular on your breakfast. Thanks for sharing.
Have a nice day!

No, i can never do that deliberately. I cannot start my day without having a good breakfast unless there are some unavoidable circumstances. I feel the same as you. In the morning our body metabolism is very fast and it needs food to run it. And if we eat a breakfast full of protein and fiber our system will get good fuel to run the metabolism.
I think no meal should be skipped. one should eat healthy according to the time of the day in which one is eating. Every meal works for our system provided it gives the required nutrition to the body at that time.

Unfortunately I am completely undisciplined when it comes to eating breakfast. I have been trying to eat a few slices of grapefruit every morning lately but when I wake up I just don't feel like eating. I KNOW it is in my best interests to start the day with a healthy meal and I hope I can train myself to be more proactive in this regard.

I'm really doing the bad thing. I am one of those people who skip breakfast everyday. Well, the main reason is that my job schedule is really different. I usually go home at 3 or 4 in the morning. Then I wake up around 11 noon. I always skip breakfast. So sad.

I basically skip meals all the time.
Mostly because I either don't have any money or no time to eat.
When I get the chance to put down a big plate of food I do that.
I'm 57 so I guess its not as important as with a kid.
Yes, breakfast is important, especially when you're growing up.

Oh it is another question arisen? Does the age matter with breakfast? I think people in all ages should stay healthy and a healthy breakfast helps for the same. Old people should be more concerned about their health because they can fall ill easily. If you are a teenager it won't affect you badly but in a later stage it will. I won't comment on money matter here, because I don't know the exact problem. So it is better to keep silent on the same.
Thanks for your valuable time.
Have a nice day and nice time always.

I have never in my life missed breakfast. It might sound weird, but I can't wake up properly without having breakfast and my morning tea. I think by now, my body is simple used to a certain morning routine and breakfast is a part of it.
I"m more likely to skip dinner than breakfast

Breakfast means the food we take after the fast (break the fast). We are not taking any food when sleep so after sleeping the first food we eat is called the breakfast. So I think you have to replace the name of 'lunch' as 'breakfast'. (lol). Thanks for sharing Insulin.
Have a nice day.

I dont skip breakfast, i eat my breakfast everyday. And it is a must for me to have an energy at work. I think it is the most important meal that you shouldnt miss to eat for it is like a fuel to your body, you cannot think well and do you job well if you have empty stomach.

I don't usually eat breakfast, even if I have to go to work. I only have big dinner on the evening, at lunchtime I only have some biscuits or noodles. But I don't do it because I am trying to lose weight, I just can't be bothered to eat. And if I will eat early in the morning I felt like I have to vomit the food. Maybe my belly is used being empty during the early day till on the evening then it will be full.

Usually during the weekend, I will have a late breakfast plus lunch. In a way, trying not to add more weight to my scale. To me breakfast is a must and but to be missed. It's the start of a very busy day and it provides us energy and strength. Without breakfast, will feel hungry the whole morning and hence will lose concentration of what you doing. It's advisable to have a simple but nutritious breakfast.
