Can deception sometimes have good results?

Deception can have good results if it isn't discovered, but that doesn't mean that it's right to do so. It often seems easier to trick others into thinking something that isn't true in a situation, but is it correct to do so? I don't think so. It's lying, and I think that lying is never correct. Many people use deception because they don't think about whether it's right or wrong, but I, personally, would never go around telling the truth in order to get out of something. It might make the other person feel better if they believe what I've told them, but it would not make me feel good. I don't feel comfortable with this. =S Your question is a thinker though, because if you were to ignore the fact that deception is wrong, then I would have to answer with a "yes" - deception does have good results sometimes. At what cost? =P

I suppose it could be possible. Maybe if you pretend you are someone different and meet a good friend because they like you, although you would have to tell them the truth in the end, so that might be bad. Maybe you would get burned by the pretending and you would learn from your mistakes not to ever do it again, so this would be good. I think being honest is the best option, though sometimes it has bad results too.

The are some people are like camouflage outside their being. We can never control the universe to have a peaceful place, since some used to corrupt the minds of innocent souls. I do believe in bad karma, it will be the next thing to happen for those who are insensitive to the welfare of other people.
