Did you see this on the news this morning?

On Fox News this mornnong, they were showing
a group of people, quite a few were young people.
They were out in front of the White House,
jumping up and eown and celebrating the electing
Of Obama. OK - nothing wrong with that - - but
all of a sudden the camera picks up a person
holding up a full size COMMUNIST FLAG ??
And - there was at least one other in the crowd
wearing a T shirt with a communist emblem on it.
I couldn't believe that I was seeing that. It's not
that I am against our freedoms - but there's a time
and a place for everything, and I certainly didn't see
where something like that would do anything for the
celebration of the new president elect.
Any thoughts on this?

I didn't see that. But IMO that is just plain wrong to wear that on Nov 4th of all days. Yes we do have our freedom of speech & expressions but some people choose not to be tactful about expressing themselves.
But if you think about it they did what they set out to achieve wich is to get people talking.

Nothing really surprises me much anymore. After hearing Obamanation talk, socialist pig comes to mind, but not communism. It's going to turn out to be the reverse Robin Hood Syndrome: Rob the poor, give to the rich.

I saw the group of elated people, but I did not notice the few with the flags and T shirt. People like them always try to steal the joy of others and to draw the attention on what is happening to themselves. Unfortunately even though few in number they did succeed to get the attention. There's always one or two bad apples in every barrel.

It does not surprise me in todays society! And you are right there is a time and place for everything and these idiots in the T-shirts must not know that? That is just poor taste!

I couldn't agree with you more. It's almost like people are trying to sabotage Obama and this wonderful time. We can't even properly celebrate the new president elect without trying to destroy his image from the very beginning. I would not be surprised if a few sore losers were responsible for this action...normally, I wouldn't assume this kind of thing, but people's true colors (no pun intended :) have really come out throughout this entire election process. I mean it's like racism was hidden and it just came out once those people realized that it was actually possible that a black man named Barack Obama could actually be president of the United States. Oh...but they won't admit to racism, they'll call it something else and make up lies about socialism, communism and the works. I advise people to try and think for themselves, use common sense and don't believe everything you see or hear. It's important for everyone to properly do their homework and question almost everything (it's sad that it's come to this though...)

I agree. And I think Fox is pro-McCain or pro-Palin. They even made it a point to broadcast her whinings about her face not being retouched in a magazine lol.

I wouldn't harp on it myself. Not everyone agrees with everything and it is normal at any demonstration of any kind for there to be a few naysayers. It's a normal part of life and freedom of expression, as long as they aren't harming anyone.

I did not see it but my thoughts on it are this: As long as the press continues to cover things of this nature and then air them for people to see then it will continue. Not only continue but it will get worse. People will do anything for their "5 seconds of fame". If the press shuts them down then all of America shuts them down.
You would think they would get the picture seeing all of the copycat killings and things that happen. But I guess it doesn't matter what it takes to get the ratings up just get them up. All about priorities huh?

I saw the people at the white house celebrating, but I did not see the flag, or shirts. I wouldn't say they were in support of obama. Could have been protesters poking fun at obama for his comments.

there'd always be speculations until those kids decide to explain themselves lol.
I just think they're playing puns on Obama's change and unity platform. Would he tolerate communism because he wants to promote unity? Something like that. Well, that's what I think.
It does look impertinent on TV though. What could that guy be thinking lol.

So what?Anybody who want to wear a T shirt with a communist emblem on that time can do it so.Maybe He or she is a communist and want other people to know there is a communist. In America, it is impossible that a communist be the president. So some people who support communist may vote a candidate who is more communistic than other candidates.

no, i didn't actually... but it is really a bad taste and wrong thing to do to wear a T-shirt with a communist enblem on it and carry a communist flag in a celebration like that... what are those people thinking when they do that??? some people just have no brain and behave in a weird manner... take care and have a nice day...

Well those young people do not have to pay taxes, and they do not have to worry about whether their taxes are too high. But they do know that Obama has Marxist leanings. Perhaps if they had held the flag up before he got elected, there would have been a different result. Maybe he would not have had such a lead.

That is because the youth today do not really know the damage that the communist did to the world...or what the still continue to do. They probably only like the design on the t-shirts.

I did not view this but it doesn't surprise me. There is always going to be characters like this in today's society when it come to politics and a president elect.
I would like to see Obama get as fair a shake as any other president. He is not even in office quite yet. I just want to back up any president when elected and hope he does a good job for the country.
