In this photo attached to this discussion, Obama is seen smiling with a kid! Will he be so people minded in the next four years? Or do you think Obama, being so good in giving election speeches used all those flowery language just to win the election? From his speech, I guess Obama would deliver! And he would work more towards world peace than fighting wars with Afghanistan and Iraq. I hope the world benifits!

Yes. I hope he does stay like this. The people of America voted for him to win. It is what they wanted. I think he will do well for them. I hope he never lets them down. Yes, and I hope the world will benefit too. I cannot wait to see him in action now. Congratulations America on your new President. I think he will do well for the people.

When he smiles, I can feel a lot of love. I know it might be kind of foolish to expect everything that he has ever said to come true, because some of it was just campaign talk, but I really do have high expectations from him. I know we're in good hands.

Funny you mention that. I caught clips of him off and on today on TV and on Yahoo News - his bright and huge shiney smile was a whole lot dimmer and less shiney and not many teeth showing now... hum.

Obama has been saying much of what was in his campaign platform for years. The things that he wants to promote are things that he worked for as a community organizer, and things that he supported both as a state and a US Senator. His speeches are inspiring and moving, but I didn't shape my opinion of the man from his speeches. I believe that many people projected promises onto him, both those who support him, and more those that were against him. I don't expect him to change the country overnight. I believe that he will honestly and truly do the best he can to support the decisions that are in the best interest of the country. I believe that he will do exactly what he said - listen to the best advisers and work alongside us to make our country into everything that it can be.
