I sent an e-mail to AlertPay's support give two days ago asking them if I can transfer my money to bank here in the Philippines unfortunately we can only do bank wire transfer (with a 15-dollar fee )and check withdrawals. Too bad.
But the support person also included good news for all of us and I hope it's also available for personal users. Because in PayPal I believe you have to have a business account to get it. Here is what they said in the last part of their e-mail to me:
You may be pleased to know that we will be launching an AlertPay debit card for our members, so that our customers can withdraw funds directly to debit cards. The expected launch is in the fall of 2008. We will announce the launch on our website.
By the way, we only have two seasons here in the Philippines, so when exactly is fall? .

I read over Neobux forum about withdrawing PayPal funds to BPI account and yes, you can do that...
With BDO however, I am not so sure coz when I inquired via their Customer Support, they said that they do not accept e-funds transfer from PayPal to any of their debit/credit cards... you can verify it again though ;)

Now that you said that only US residents can have the debit card in PayPal, I'm afraid that it might not be available in the Philippines. But I really hope that it is even if it's only for a business account I can probably accept that instead of nothing.

I have the PayPal debit card and I don't have a personal account... I don't know too much about it. I usually just draw it into my bank account, btu I guess you have more limited choices in other countries.
Fall is also called autumn, and it's in between summer and winter for some areas. It usually features beautiful colors of reds and oranges and yellows on the leaves of the trees, gradually getting cooler and darker earlier in the day, sort of a transition into winter.

I think I joined Alertpay a few months ago but have never used their serevices as of yet since i prefer Paypal more. It is great news about the debit card. I don't think you have to have a business account for paypal's debit since my sister in law doens't have a business account and has one.

I was going to do a Bank Wire to my New Zealand Account but had problems.
They only "wire" in American Currency, which means I needed an "International Currency Account" in order to recieve the money. So make sure that the Bank Account your are going to "wire" to accepts American Currency.
Someone earlier mentioned Cheques, I've been waiting since the 24th October 2008 for an US$427 Cheque from AlertPay, I hope it arrives soon :)

I would really like just a regular bank transfer like in PayPal. The charge for a wire transfer is so expensive. I would like to receive check payments problem is it takes too much time before you can receive it. So I really hope that they make the debit card available here in our country.

That's a great news yuna. In my country i also don't have the bank transfer option. So the only option had for me was to wire transfer or check. Both are costly. So i was not thinking to withdraw any money from there for now. Now since they are launching debit card i think it will be more beneficial for all of us. Also it will be easier to transfer funds to alertpay. Thanks for the nice information.

Good news indeed right? I just hope that they make it available in our countries if it's just in the US then it will still be sad. Watch out for it in their website. I'll be sure to watch out for it as well. I'll try to check their website everyday for updates.

For those residence in the Philippines who wanted to use PayPal, it is now possible to link Union Bank's EON account or cyber account. Just apply through Union Bank's website or go to the nearest branch. I have now my Union Bank and I was able to link it to my PayPal account.

You could request the check to be mailed to you. It has a $3, but still it is a lot lower than $15 for wire transfer.
I am just wandering if they gave you any more information regarding the debit cards. I am curious what the advantages would be and how exactly will it work.
Fall is now, and winter is coming near (December), so maybe we will not have to wait too long to find out.
Also I would like to add that maybe you will not wait for too long to be able to transfer money to your bank account. I remember when I created my account Greece was not on their list for bank transfers, and now few months after it is. So, maybe Philippines will be added soon.

For PayPal it's fairly easy for us to withdraw the money. We can withdraw our money for free as long as it doesn't fall below 6,000 Philippine Pesos for AlertPay unfortunately we can't do that. So I'm really looking forward for that Debit Card they told me about since I'm already starting to build some income through AlertPay.
We just have Summer and Rainy Season or should I say Storm Season . But the best time of the year for us is from Late November to late February. Not too cold, not too hot.

That is a good news on the way, with debit card you do have to be requesting each and everytime you have money to be wired to your bank. For us who cannot receive money through paypal can now be sure that another payment option is available. Thanks for sharing this good information.

The only option that I can consider is a physical check as I am in Malaysia. Wire transfer is way too expensive and therefore, it does not make any sense to do that. I'd rather spend $3 and wait for my check to come and wait some more for the check to be cleared and paid. That could easily take about 60 days...
I have not heard about the debit card but that would be a good option to look at but the only problem with a debit card, especially issued from a different country, each withdrawal can cost up to $3 and then some debit cards come with monthly fee and yearly fee and some other fees. If AlertPay can give us a card with no such fee except for withdrawal fee, then I would be interested to get one.
Anyway, I am not really in a hurry as I only have $25 in my AlertPay account and it would take a long time for it to reach $100, which is the limit that I set for withdrawal.
Cheers!

Me too I really don't like the bank wire transfer to I have no choice but to just withdraw my money by check. I have like $2 in my account so that's alright for now!
Like you I will need to accumulate some money first from in my account to witdraw.

I read about this news in sulitdotcom 2 months ago, and like you I am excited to this debit card, but i hope that this debit card is not that expensive like the debit card in altergold which will cost you $100 if you include the philippine shipping fees. Solidtrustpay has already debit card which is cheaper than altergold, price at $30.00. Anyway, if it cost too much , i will still get one rather choose the bank wire or mailed check.

Hello,
that's really a good news! I really would like to have a debit card from alertpay, i consider that the best way to cashout the money.
And if they will have a good one (like the epassporte, without monthly fee, unlike the payooner) i will apply for that for sure.
Thanks to shared with us that really interesting information.
Happy myLotting
