The future of U.S. under obama

I feel President Obama will do his best to bring about the changes that were promised; but it's not going to happen overnight. I mean it didn't take overnight for the mess we are in to appear. I say give our new president all the support possible; and work together.

I believe that his first focus has to be on the U.S. economy - that is where he has made the most promises and people will expect that to be his first priority. Issues pertaining to OUR country should be his first priority - it is time that other countries started taking care of themselves. An immediate and hasty withdrawal of our troops from Iraq would jeopardize both our military forces and those in the private sector working in Iraq. It is also not in our best interest or the best of interest of Iraq to withdraw our troops until such time as they have military and leadership in place to guarantee the safety of their people.

I see change coming, but not the kind he promised. I expect we'll see a lot of our rights taken away and live in fear of our own government. We will have to be heavily taxed in order to put all his new programs into effect.

He has got to focus on the ecomony. That is going to a hard problem to fix and it will not be over night. Most of time will be taken up with the ecomony for a while. He can't really focus on the rest until it is fixed. For all our sakes I hope he can do it before it gets much worse.
