I am so happy with myself today. Enlight of christmas I have decided to only spend fifty dollars on food and gas in two weeks. This will allow me to save half of my pay check for christmas. Well today I bought me and my boyfriend three meals for twelve dollars. Thats four dollars a meal!
But what made me the happiest was when I went to meijer to use two coupons. I needed to buy some salsa, so I went to that isle. I had a coupon for a 1.50 off taco bell salsa, the salsas regular price ended up being 1.85. I only paid .35 cents for a jar of salsa! I also had a coupon for a dollar off two 2 liters of dr pepper. They ended up being on sale five for five dollars ( a dollar a piece), so I bought one and got the other FREE!
What coupon story do you have? Have you ever saved a lot from coupons? Where do you find your coupons? By the way the meijer sale is still going on thru saturday, you can get the coupons on meijers website, if you want to get the same deals I did.

You go! Great job. I've always loved to use coupons. Some people can't be bothered with it but to me it's worth it. Those & clearance isles. I cant think of a story to tell but I know one time I had so many coupons a manager had to approve my order because I walked out with a bag of stuff for only a few dollars.

I love coupons. I make a habit of ordering them from save.ca and brandsaver as well as looking on line for them. I combine them with sales and save myself money. Never seem to find them for the resturants in the area.
My mom called me a cheap little bug-ger last week when i wanted to get my prescription after my surgery at a certain store because they were giving 2 dollar coupons for gas.

I do try to use coupons quite often, but I usually don't save that much money. I have gotten Dawn dish soap for 35 cents before and I have gotten a couple of items free with coupons but usually I just save a little bit. I do like to use them with sale items as you know that you are getting a good deal.

Good for you! I also use lots of coupons. We get the paper, so I get one set of coupons on Sunday from that. Two of my neighbors give me what they don't use from their papers and my mom cuts hers out and mails them to me. I also use a lot of internet coupons and ecoupons. (you download ecoupons to your store card and when you scan your card it automatically gives you the discount on any items that you buy.) I don't buy anything anymore unless I can get anywhere from 60 to 90% off my bill. Tonight we went shopping and and got $90.16 in groceries for only $35.65!

Around here, you can't get very good coupons, and although I look online for coupons and try to find better ones, they're never that great. It often works out better for me to just buy the generic brand food.

I used coupons last year and I actually got some great deals and would walk out of the grocery with about 120.00 worth of groceries for as little as 23.00 but i have not used any coupons in a long time. I do not have the time to do it.

It sounds like you made out very well today. Congratulations. I like to be thrifty also. I paid 1.00 for two rising crust pizza's at CVS because I had some extra bucks.
I also got 5.00 off at Walgreens.

I am just getting my coupons ready to go shopping tomorrow. I only buy items that I have coupons for and that are on sale. Highlights from my trip tomorrow include: Muir Glen soup - .25 a can - I am getting quite a few, Betty crocker cookie mix - 4 @ .25 a piece and then when you buy 4 you get a free dozen eggs. Durecell batteries - buy 4 pkgs and get $5 back next shopping trip. I have coupons for 1.50 off each so it should be fairly cheap. Keep up the good work.
