and think it's all completely biased, run by liberals etc. why don't you do something about it like stopping watching their programmes and buying their newspapers? or even complaining to the people that matter about it instead of just ranting on the internet about it.

Watch Fox News, while it does have a conservative spin, they are very fair and unbiased. They cut out a lot of crap that the liberal media puts out there. If you want to find out the truth in regards to politics, watch Fox News. And boycott the New York Times.

Greatdebater, if you just want to insult Fox News give some proof that their coverage is somehow inaccurate or biased. I started a thread asking for someone to prove it and NOBODY has given me anything resembling proof despite how many times I've referred people to it.

Ohio did go to Obama. ??
Fox is the highest rated news channel because of their unbiased reporting. They're not scumbags there, they actually give a darn about fairness.

I watched some of their election coverage, and I laughed so hard to hear Brit call Ohio for Obama. If you think that FOX is fair and balanced, then look up that video on YouTube. That video alone will show you how unfair, and bias FOX really is.

Well I don't have any newspaper subscriptions, I NEVER watch MSNBC (the most biased network on the planet), and frankly, most Americans have taken action against these organizations. The New York Times has lost a LOT of subscribers as a result of their biased election coverage and MSNBC's ratings are in the crapper right now.

Poor Taskr, I know that you are still upset because of the election, but it will be ok. It is just an election cycle, give it a few more years, and republicans will be back in power. You are correct that The New York Times has made a lot of stupid decisions, but so has FOX. MSNBC is fun to watch if you are a democrate, just like FOX is fun to watch if you are a republican. I did look at MSNBC's ratings, and their two prime time shows (Bill O'Reilly, and Sean Hanity) lost the last two weeks to MSNBC. Now Bill O' is calling for a congressional investigation into this, and has even attacked the Neilson group (funny how he never did that when he was leading in the ratings). So you might want to look at all the facts.

Now you're just lying through your teeth debater. You want facts? How about this?

Take a nice long look at that list. Where exactly is MSNBC? MSNBC couldn't make the freaking list! Even Hannity and Colmes managed to squeeze in between Spongebob episodes. Seriously, save your lies for someone who isn't going to get the facts and prove you wrong.

Taskr, apparently you don't listen to O'Reilly, I don't know what he is talking about either, but he is calling for an investigation into Nielson's system. If you have watched his show, or listened to it you know what I am talking about. I think it has to do with age groups, but I am not getting my facts from Nielson, I am getting them from O'Reilly, not Neilson. You might want to ask him what he is talking about.

Why are you ranting on the internet about it?
As far as your advice, judging by the plummeting ratings and the revenues that come with it, and dying readership of major newspapers, I'd say a lot of people have already taken your advice.

True, the conservative leaning MSM isn't doing any better than the left leaning. Both seem to do little more than take wire feeds and news releases. The days of real investigative journalism are gone... laziness has killed it.

It is a sign of the times, it is all business, I was watching a program on PBS about the Iraq war. It was very interesting to see the only news orgainzation to get the store right was Knight Ridder. The man who interviewed the two reporters on the story asked them if they feel better now that they are proven right, and they both said NO. I would have to agree with them, we need more reporters, and less commentators, and paper pushers.

Ted, by the way, I noticed on CNBC yesterday that Newcorp's profits were down dramticly, and they were feeling the crunch from the current ecnomic situation. You know who newscorp is don't you? This is the company that owns FOX News/Radio, The Wall Street Journal, and many other right wing outlets. I agree that many have taken his advice, including conservatives.

I usually stick to BBC news and PBS. I do admit that during the election I turned to both FOX and CNN to see what all the fuss was about... but those days are over now! What do you think of BBC news?
